Do you act your age?

I like to think that I'm more mature than people my age. I've always connected better with people older than I am. I was just curious if anyone else felt that their ag didn't suite them.

I seem to be going through the same thing. I am 19 years old. Most of the people who are my age like to go out and party all the time. As for me, I would rather sit at home and do nothing because I work all the time.

In person I act like an adult (though I am an adult ). On the internet, I do not think it hurts to act childish now and then. I will forever be a teen at heart, no matter what age I become

I dont' act or feel like my age, lol. Sometimes I act like I'm 14, and sometimes I act like I'm 20. It really depends on how I feel like acting =P.

I'm almost 18, and I dont act like it, lol. Never have, never will.

I'm 21 years old. All my life I've related better to people older than I am. I'm positive that sometimes I act like a 21 year old male, and sometimes I act like a 16 year old. Sometimes I probably act like a thirty year old. Basicaly it depends on my situation, who I'm with and what I'm doing.

I rarely find that I act "my age" unless I'm at some sort of gathering, like a concert or something. It drives me insane when people act immaturely; I tend to find them overly annoying. I get along with my friends' parents more than my friends sometimes, however awkward it is... so.. meh.

For me it varies, always has. I have always gotten along with those older than me, but I can just as easily relate to those younger than me. And sometimes on rare occasions, I'm sure I act my age (thought I'm not sure what that would be, the behavior, not the age.)

It really depends for me, I can be a serious person one day acting heaps mature and then I can be acting like a 2 year old another day, so immature

I think I'm in the middle, I act my age and am not too silly or too serious

I think acting your age is a bit of a lame concept.

I act like who I am. Reguardless of age.

Now that you mention it Jin..I agree completly/ I think -age- in genral is a lame concept. I've always been judged for my age and not by my total life experience. Here is a good example.

I was in a bookstore one time and I noticed this guy was reading Ghost Rider by Neil Peart. It is one of my favorite books so I stirred up some conversation. THe guy was awesome and we talked for like 15 minutes. Then he asked how old I was and I told him and it ended there. He felt sort of akward I guess. I mean it's not like we're dating or anything I just wanted to see what he thought of the book.

I personally hate age. I always tell people that I'm 14 if you go by the number of years I've been alive. Other than that I'm not sure how old I am.

I say somewhere around 25 myself, Makura.

Anywho, like most people my maturity varies. When I was younger I actually acted way more mature than I do now. One of my teachers even commented to my parents that I was the most mature 11 year old he had ever seen. I've always been able to pass for someone two years older than I really am, yet at the same time I can convince people that I am 4 years younger.

Currently, given the situation I act anywhere from 10-30. On here I'm sure you've seen my range, giving sagely advise one minute and then doing something completely stupid the next. Ah the joys of "youth".
