http://www.vornagar.com/ http://www.myspace.com/vornagar Both those bands have insane technical drumming. Vornagar has a vid on thier site and thier myspace of mainly the drummer and it's pretty crazy. Anyone know more bands that do really technical drumming like this? |

| DREAM THEATER, Mike Portnoy is the best drummer I know of. He has also worked in Transatlantic, Liquid Tension Experiment, Mullmuzzer, And I think Office of Strategic Influence. The thing about (death)metal drums is it's usually more about double bass streams than anything else, where the true amazing technical work is done is progressive rock. Shadows Fall does have good drummer though. As for downloads, Dream Theater's 6:00 is a good one to hear exellent drumming. You can also probably find the video for The Ytse Jam, that has a great drum solo. | |||
