Is this game any good? I remember playing it years and years ago, and I think I wasn't too found of it ... since it was just too different.

Still though, I'd be willing to get this game and give it a try. Being a huge Metroid fan, I'm sure I'd enjoy it.

I don't think my GB Pocket works anymore, but I've been wanting to pick up a Super Gameboy anyways and would probably just play it on that.

The game itself does not seem like it has a real good Metroid game feel to it. It is an ok game in my opinion, but every other Metroid game seems to be better.

I remember playing only the last part of the game on my friend's (way back then at the time) gamboy. I remember you had to use the Morph Ball and roll inside the last bass, into her stomach, and release bombs. 3 times and it was over. Fairly easy I'd say.

I've owned the game a few years, it's fairly easy to get lost in the game's vast underworld, I never finished the game of course, but one day I'll have to pick up my savefile (if the battery didn't die by now in the cart) and continue on my merry way.

All in all it's not a bad game, just no map to pinpoint your location.

I have it for the Original Gameboy. Right here, next to my foot on the ground. I don't care for it, but its a good game. Metroid 1 was better. I'd stick to getting the SNES and GBA versions though. But if you're looking to complete a series, its no waste of money, you'd probably play it for a while. The colors in the game make it confusing to get to some areas, and the music is... the music has a mildly depressing tone to it. But other than that, its good.

Ya, Metroid 2 - ROS is a decent game, it's one of those games that once you beat it, you don't wanna go back to it anymore. I used to own it on the black and white Gameboy, all big & bulky.
