| In "Paradox Island", as well as other stories from the "Paradox Island Series", characters communicate with each other on a vast planetary network. The device they use is called a PCD (Personal Communications Device).
I created a short animation, well three versions of the same animation, that shows the following in order: * PCD standby * PCD idle * PCD return from idle * Incoming Call * Call answered, no visual enabled. * Call terminated * TMC (Transportation Mobility Commission) Traffic Update * PCD idle * PCD power off * Charger plugged in * PCD Charging * PCD Charging Complete I would appreciate feedback on both the technology and the animation. | That's actually really cool. It must've taken a lot of time to do all those drawings for it. I dunno, I think being able to have the patience to animate something is impressive.
The actual PCD thing is intriguing. It looks like it could actually be something real. The little loading animation... at least I think thats what it was, that sort of caught my eye. And very fitting music by the way. Something about it worked really well... I could imagine the PCD booting up with a little short sample of that music playing. |
