I don't even know what to say. This is just really pissing me off.

I know most of you probably know about my old wireless mouse, in which I used up 16 AAA batteries for in less than a month. So I went out today and decided to buy just a simple USB mouse.

And it sucks. Its horrible, it does not calibrate right with the computer at all. I've restarted countless times, I've uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it more than a few times, plugged it in and out, and it's just horrible.

It simply, goes all over the place. I move the mouse down, it might shoot up to the top right screen for an instant, its completely uncontrolling.

I've messed with properties, whatnot, and everything. I never saw anywhere something that I could calibrate the mouse with though, clicking on areas or whatever. I tried messing with the sensitivity and at the slowest setting its even worse.

Any ideas?

Can I not just have a damn mouse that actually works?

Edit: I can't live like this. Without a scrollbar my life is meanlingless.

I'll go eat some food for now and check back on this if anyone has any clue at all.

Logitech Mouses

I have the MX512 version of this

Don't get wireless mice or keyboards if you're a gamer/heavy computer user.

Update: I mixed up the word hate with have. The mx512 is an excellent mouse, any predecesors are excellent mice too. Logitech is the best mouse production company in my opinion.

Whoops, I should have added that this one is actually wired.

I'm going to run downstairs and try our basic MS optical mouse on this computer and see if it works better ...

edit: No change. So there's something wrong with configurations here or something. I doupt 3 USB mouses, one that works on our family computer, don't just magically not work on my laptop.

i highly reccomend a microsoft laptop wireless usb mouse

it was i think 30 bucks and small, but not too small. it had a usb plug, that clipped into the bottom of the mouse for transportation. when the reciever cliped into the bottom, it pressed a button that turned the mouse off. and this thing had an amazing battery life. It used 1 AAA, and i never had to replace it. NEVER and i left the mouse on for days. of course, i lost the reciever a few months after i got the mouse...but still

Agreed, I dont know what branch of brand my mouse is, but its wireless and rechargable. (Like I have been saying for like many posts now). And yes, it does fizz out easily, but nothing too drastic, it has a 10 hour battery life and recharges fully in 3-4 hours....

I cant wait untill cell batteries come out on the market for wireless products, not to mention make them more recharagable, it would make life so much cheaper.

Edit- Wtf? Cheaper? I ment to say easier there...=/
