Well, the board has been around for quite some time now. I count more than two years though.  I always include the MoD days as well, since the majority of our members now were members back then as well...so it's the same people, same type of forums, same rules basically as MoD, we just go by a different name now. :p
So people, what's special to you about this board? If you're active enough to see this thread and reply to it, then there's definitely something about the board that you enjoy. Some of our members are known for certain things too, such as we can usually count on Rogue to clue us in on the latest in entertainment, being the movie buff that she is. Also, FX is always trying to make all the birthday threads. :p So, what do you guys think your "specialties", for lack of a better word, are? As for me...well, the board in general is kickass, but one thing that is special to me, and I gotta be the one to do it every year, is make Spyware's birthday thread, and he's gotta make mine. :p Spyware isn't as active anymore, and I haven't chatted with him lately, but he's still my buddy. See, he and I are 10 days apart. Not we're a few years apart but our birthdays are 10 days apart...Spyware is only 10 days older than me. So yeah...something he and I always thought was uber cool, and it just so happened to work out that we always made each other's birthday threads first...so, FX, dun rush to make that thread please. :p It's a while away yet though. Not 'til May. :p
Oh, and as far as "specialties" go...I don't really have any. It'd be like me trying to pick what my ultimate favorite thing is. I like art, so when I'm on an artistic kick, I usually post in the artforum a lot, others I go to the entertainment forum...and always the RP forum. Teehee. |

I don't try to make all the B-Day threads, the names just show up earlier for me. That and I have no life 
Well, one thing that is special about this forum, to me, is the fact that it is almost like my extended family. I've joined other boards and it is just a bunch of people posting. But here, we all know each other, and I feel at home... *tear* As for my specialties, I'd say a lot of things, including running one of the most kick ass RPs ever! (/brag) |

That was a very well put-together post there Katana. I, myself, have been around here since the MoD days. I've never really been an active person on here, but I do come by here everyday. Besides my own board, this is perhaps the board that I visit the most. Posts are entertaining, and almost everyone here I know. I usually go through the game threads or stick around general when I come by. Recently though, I enjoyed helping a few people with their Japanese. That is always something I am willing to do. I hope this board sticks around for a long time to come.  |

| Not sure I really have a specialty. I'm not the most active of users, but I do try to put in my two cents here and there. However, this board does mean a lot to me. This is my connection to people all over. I place of escape, somewhere where I can be myself and not be judged. It's nice to have a place (even if it is just online) where I'm not judged. | |||

Oh, wait. What, not who. Believe it or not, of the active boards that I post on, this one has the least bullshit drama and the fewest overzealous staff. I may be an asshole (and, apparently, proud of it), but I only really go off on people when they keep hitting my assorted Big Red Buttons, and that doesn't happen here anywhere near as often as it has elsewhere. For this, I'm grateful. My specialty? I'll let someone else judge that. |

| The people are what's important in a forum. And maybe Kaijin's PMs.
But I'd say, the reason I frequent this board is that Shaddow, FX, Clockworkz, Vulkar, and such other people make me laugh. Then there are nice people like VG, Katana, and Kyoku. And then there's me. I think I spread happiness stretching to the four corners of the forum. |
