| I can't directly relate but I remember holding my best friend , kevins , hand when he told his mother that he was gay . He was so nervous . He couldn't stop sweating . I felt so bad for him . It is a life struggle that I wish people didn't have to endure . You shouldn't have to wonder wether your parents and friends will hold the same love for you that they did before those two words " I'm gay " .
Anywho , Kevin is one of the lucky ones . His mother was over joyed that he even had a date  . I just wish more parents , friends , and people in todays society could be as loving as Karen . |

| I worked under a student program at a local hospital here in Wisconsin . When a year passed my fellow student workers and I began to wonder why we weren't making our GS-2's ( raise to next federal paygrade ) . The two GS-1's that work along side me stood up in morning report and inquired about getting our 2's . My head nurse said she would get on it and let them know what she found out . She never got back to them . So I decided to ask the head nurse myself what the hold up was . She jumped down my throat saying " I'm sick of all the wimmpering about you three girls making your 2's . I want you to just shut your mouth about it and leave it alone . " Her language was a bit more fowel and she embarrased the hell out of me in front of the rest of my crew . A short while later I got a certified letter in the mail saying our student programs weren't going to be renewed . I was out of a job .
I decided to try out bartending . I mean , yeah , you have to be a twisted little nut to like babysitting drunkin perverts but who said I wasn't twisted . So the backlash of losing my wonderful federal job wasn't so bad . Then steps in my bad luck again . The bar I finaly got fulltime hours at switched owners . The new owner fired all the bartenders ( me ) . So I was yet again ' out on my ass ' . I found out last night that I had an interview at Dimensions ( the hottest club in town ) scheduled for this morning . I'm thinking to myself " yeah right , I'm not on this level yet . I'll never get this " . I was so friggin nervous . I suppose to cut this short ... After being out of a job for a week now I finaly have somewhere to call home . | I'm two day's in now at the new job . I love it for the most part , but the twelve hour shift's are killing me . As a bartender you don't have the option of getting a break . You're literaly standing for your entire shift . What I should say is mostly ' running ' for twelve hour's . I came home last night at 3 am with swollen feet . So Cyro soaked them in ice water followed by a foot massage ( with scented body oil *grin* ) . My feet are still swollen this morning . It's awful . But I have to suck it up , and head back in tonight for yet another twelve hour shift . Isn't it awful being working class !? Atleast we can say we have our pride , and we earned it *wink* . | |||

| I adopted a kitten from a local pet store a few years ago . He was brought in with his siblings because they were found with upper respiratory problems . He was the smallest out of the bunch , and slept all the time . The pet clinic named him Sleepy as a side effect of his laziness . To my surprise , I got him home and he was bouncing off of everything I had in my cramped little apartment . I decided to rename him Tobasco because it looked like someone lit a firecracker under his ass . Sadly, Tobascos' sole right's were given to my ex when I left him ( against policy to have pet's where I was heading ) . I do miss Tobasco , but I'm sure he is still a little fireball . | |||

| Your saying you want this marriage as soon as your piggy bank is ready to bust , but your willing to put it off for a trip to Europe after the ceremony ? Let your Uncle finance this beautiful wedding . Europe can wait . Besides, your pregnant and soon after you'll be caring for a newborn . So enjoying Europe shortly after the wedding is out of the question . You should really wait on Europe and build your family first . Europe will still be there when your new family is ready to savor it . As far as making an inexpensive wedding work ... that's easy . I was maid of honor in my cousins wedding and we hand made everything from the table toppers to the candle holders . All you need is a good arts and crafts store like Michaels . You making your own wedding gown alone will save you thousands . You can find gorgeous fabric for a cheap price . All it takes is good bargain hunting and friends that are willing to help . Having an outdoor wedding means you don't have to rent space . Once again , you save money . You can make this work ! Just come up with the colors and start bargain hunting in your free time . It's actually alot of fun to because it will bring everyone together . Just put some drink's on ice for your friends and family and build this ceremony from scratch . You'll enjoy yourselves . | I think she need's time to understand herself . She has to figure out how to cope with some of the disorder's that she has . Noone can expect her to change nor can they change her . She has to do this on her own . When she comes to term's with everything and find's happieness in herself you should contact eachother . If you care for her as much as you do I think you know you have to let her go . You just have to hope for the best . She will come back when she is ready . If rehab/counseling end's up in this picture you should be there as a friend . Whether it is writing letter's or visiting during apropriate hour's . I hope you get through this as well . *sigh* | |||
