It doesn't work if you have your viewing set to automatically update all layouts. That overrides the disable layout function. I don't know if it works otherwise, but it is an older modification (re: Hack) from AcmlmBoard 1.8. I've been thinking about a fix for it, but never got around to it.

Hmmm... Thats odd. Thats definatly weird but I'm sure it has to do with the way the AcmlmBoard 1.92 renders threads and posts. Its different from AcmlmBoard 1.8. I'll look into it later tomorrow and get back to you if someone else doesn't.

Whee! Thanks X for putting up my RankSet Maker v1.3.5! It makes it easy to create RankSets for any ACMLM 1.92 (or similar) board. Simply download the program and run it. Insert the ranks of your choice, save the set, then export it. Zip the exported files and send them to the admin of the board. The admin can view the preview HTML page and upload the set if he/she likes it. The admin can easily install and uninstall any RankSet.

I wrote all the PHP, SQL, HTML, and VB.NET code by hand last week.

.SK, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I was an avid sim-battler when I was on message boards. I left and created my own board because I wanted to create a different kind of simbattle... which wasn't very good. I let my brother try to make a different kind and that killed my board. I am currently working on a character so I can get back into the fighting, but the lack of posts in the forum is discouraging to say the least.

Also, Seticus, please please PLEASE try to make sense in your posts. The last two by you in this thread have made very little sense until I read them about 5 times. Use proper grammar! Or at least make sure it all makes sense. An example:

WTF? Perhaps you meant to say:

First, why the HELL are you using Internet Exploder? Use Firefox or Opera or SeaMonkey. Download one and put the installer on a flash drive/CD-RW/some floppies.

Anywho, assuming you have to have IE and you are using windows 98 or higher, just stick in the windows install cd and you'll be able to install IE. If you have windows 95 or lower, wtf are you doing putting that thing on the internet?

And same question: wtf do you need IE for on a computer that has no internet?

WTF? You don't use IE to code HTML...You use Notepad or FrontPage (*shudder*) or Dreamweaver. IE is crap. You can do everything IE does with Firefox and the IE tab extension.

The tool seemed kind of poor. Coding your own layout, or having someone code it, is far superior. I suppose the tool would work if you had no clue how to make a layout and didn't feel like asking someone to do it for you.

'cause thats definately CSS. You can't stop the background from repeating unless you use CSS. Trust me, I code in CSS, HTML, PHP and MySQL every day. I suppose you could implement the CSS style like this instead:

I rarely use repair network connection. I use the command prompt and ipconfig -release ipconfig -renew. I do have a problem at college with my ip conflicting at times even though the ip addresses are dynamically assigned. When that happens, I can't fix it myself, only the IT department can by reseting the network router/hub.

I've worked on this all day extracting the characters and making them the right size. I think it looks decent, but I don't like the tag line "post for fun" so I need another tagline to put in there. Anywho, here's the image (I went with 600px by 120px for more room)

I run at 1600x1200. My problem is that the images are way bigger than everyone else's and they are almost an eye sore. I have my image limited in size even though some of the source images are larger. v.v
