| I would consider myself as one of those that does care about a loss, I fight like it is important, but do not worry about the loss if I lose. But most of my fights have ended with me as the last poster and others just stopping. It's one thing to fight and lose, you keep your honor, but to just quit in the middle of the fight... it is unfair to both parties.
Also about the whole respect thing, you also have to look at the character. Like in a lot of the fights between my Anyndir character and Vulkar's Jaques, you can see that Anyndir seriously lack respect for him, however, that stays in the sim-battle arena, because that is what Anyndir's demeanor is like. He is arrogant and does not believe that anyone can beat him. I, personally, have respect for everyone on the board, and only treat those that are on the board poorly when they have given me a reason to. I guess I rambled on a little... but I think it got my point across. |

Name: Necro Race: Drow Class: Necromancer Weapons: Bone Staff, Skeletal whip Spells: Not listing them here, but will list in the Character forum soon. IC: *Necro stands in the middle of a large cavern, the ceiling rising two hundred feet above him. Large magical light orbs float throughout the cavern, showing everything. The entire cavern floor is level, not a single stalagmite rising up to the cavern roof. The roof on the other hand looks like a many fanged maw ready to clamp down on the chamber. Hearing something else in the cavern, Necro turns to see the other being. One of his hands grips his staff, the hand itself is little more than bone. His black robes have a large grey skull emblazoned on the back and his black leather belt has silver skulls interspersed between the pouches that are on it. The buckle is a large silver skeletal hand. On his left hip a whip made of bone writhes in anticipation of a coming battle. His staff is made of bone, resembling a spinal column that has been fused together to be strait at each vertebrae. A small skull caps the top and the blank eye sockets seem to mimick the smile of the mouthless jaw.* Who goes there?!! |
