| All right, supposedly all these questions will be answered today.
A Livejournal friend posted that the sequel, which will be going into production early next year, will be entitled, The Dark Knight and will feature the Joker as played by... yes, it's unfortunate, but Heath Ledger. I suppose since we can't control it, there's no use sweating it. You never know... all that work on Roar (man I miss that show), 10 Things I Hate About You, A Knight's Tale, The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain and all his other less prevalent flicks might have been the right training to play a psychotic clown who fell into a vat of acid. | I dunno, perhaps I'm being unfair. I often have to take some fandoms very delicately because often the smallest things can ruin them for me (i.e. poser fans who suddenly argue that they are bigger fans than you, the market being flooded with interest in it, etc).
I think because so many people have been bringing it up when it isn't necessary is one of the reasons why I haven't really given it a chance. Example: Went to a panel with Bruce Campbell speaking. Someone stood up and shouted, "So, Bruce, when are you going to guest on LOST?!" Or at a Kevin Smith panel at another con: "Hey, Kevin, what do you think of LOST and when are you going to guest on it?" Where the hell does it come from? I don't run around asking my idols, "So when are you going to guest on My Name is Earl?" or "Why don't you get Adam and Jamie to let you host an episode of Mythbusters?" I don't watch much television and when a show catches my eye, I do try to make an effort to see an episode here or there, but this LOST phenomenon is just a completely different creature. After discussing it with Zoso, he mentioned that it's one of those shows that you have to watch every episode, in order, so that it all makes sense. His mom watches it once in a while, but she's a HUGE fan of 24. I guess that's why I just can't get into it. As I said, I don't watch TV so much so (matter of fact, I hate sitting around watching TV and feel like I need to get out all the time) and most shows I like are ones you don't need to watch in order or have stories comprised in a whole episode. Then again, I'm also not a fan of drama. |

First off, I wouldn't go so far as to generalize and say that "women suck" (although I can't stand many of them).

Second, this girl is definitely going to find herself kicked around and taking a few falls in life before she realizes what's what for herself. We (men and women) all have to fall on our faces once in a while before that good advice that was so quickly forgotten sinks in. I'd say she needed to hear it, but let her be. I tend to wait for Will Ferrell films to hit video before seeing them. I'm not sure if this will follow suit or not, but but I'll have to see what other friends say.

I remember when I first heard about this, it was just called "Untitled Will Ferrell Nascar movie" on IMDb, which did not at all sound interesting. It does look amusing enough, but I just might end up waiting 'til it hits rentals.

Korn fan murdered 08/02/2006 2:00 PM, Yahoo! Music Dotmusic A Korn fan was murdered at a show in America on Sunday evening. Andy Richardson was assaulted and hospitalized after the attack, which happened in the mosh pit during a show in Atlanta, on the group's Family Values Tour. Richardson, 30, remains on a life support machine but was actually declared brain-dead yesterday afternoon. Police are now expected to launch a murder investigation into the attack, which was carried out by two currently unknown men. Richardson is understood to have spoken to his assailants during the show, because he was concerned they may collide with his pregnant girlfriend and a mentally impaired child with them. A friend of Richardson's, Edgar Arellano, told MTV he saw one of the men punch him and watched as he fell face-first onto the concrete floor. "He was unconscious. He had blood all over his face when I picked him up," said Arellano. The victim's mother, Gloria Richardson, said: "Can you imagine your child goes to a concert and be killed for it, because of people out there fighting to have a quote-unquote good time?"
