| Well, I have done it, just not with anyone on the board. There are more than a few people that I have liked that only saw me as a friend... and I've had guys that have liked me that are too old (10 years older than me), but that is as far as it goes really.

| *Jade was puzzled by Shuyin's willingness to take her last attack, until she saw the change on his face. That gave her a clue though, he probably had assumed the attack was lightning... and judging by his reaction, that element did no harm to him. Negative energy did however, as she felt his energy flooding into her. She squinted a bit as he began to change, but seemed emotionless as he finished it*
"Bright... a bit too bright really. Dome, tula a' amin!" (Darkness, come to me) *As Jade shouted that last phrase in a strange tounge (Elven) she stomped her foot on the ground and all went black as a large globe of darkness enveloped the arena. Screams of the audiance could be heard echoing though the arena as confusion gripped them all. Jade bent her knees slightly and sprang into the air, her leathery wings flapping quietly as she rose into the air. The magickal darkness went all the way to the top of the dome, so there was no way to escape it there, but she was so used to fighting and flying blind that it did not worry her. She rose higher, until she judged that she was roughly 50 ft in the air. It was then that she began to chant, softly at first, but as it grew louder it echoed in the darkness, so her true location was near impossible to detect, especially with the energy of the darkness spell all around. The beautiful Elven words, finally loud enough to be heard, floated though the arena as the air took on a crisp chill* "Maeg ar' ringwe yelamin lle, coria gurtha." (Sharp and cold I call you, violet death.) *Hidden by the darkness, the ground began to frost over slightly; and deep beneath the surface a tremor began. Jade remained focused on her chanting repeating the words over and over, her flaming sword in her hands, held tight against her chest. As moments passed the ground near the surface began to shake as well. The surrounding air now was becoming bitter cold, yet Jade was unaffected though she wore only scant barbarian leather and fur. She smiled wickedly as she continued, though she most likely could not be seen... grateful in moments like these that she had learned to cast spells in Elven, seeing as most people did not understand the language at all, let alone know it existed* Darkness- Jade can summon a 120 ft sphere of darkness to surround her and her opponent, it is pitch black in there, and no one can see anything unless it is dispelled or they exit it. Jade can fight blind, so it doesn't affect her much. |

| She made her way through the maze of buildings to her class, just minutes before it was to begin. Giving a sigh of relief, she took her seat near the front of the class. Taking out her book and folder she readied herself for the day's lecture, though she knew it would be very boring.

| Announcements are always at the top of the forum when you enter one. Right now it should say "Custom Titles", and when a new one is posted it will have that title... though when you click on it you can read the ones that came before it as well.

| *Cryus looked up as Avron went passed him, scooting closer to the table since he was apparently too far out. He was done with his food and now eyeing the job on his sword happily. Getting up, he thanked Artemis for the meal and then went to the courtyard to practice with his sword a bit and slice at a bale of hay or two*
*Elara finished her food a bit after Cryus, her mind somewhere else. She rose from the table and inquired with the innkeeper about the location of a archery range for practice. She headed to the training area for the local guards and got permission to practice. She needed to insure that her skill had not dropped since she last fired her bow... and besides, if Avron had so many arrows in that cart it would not overburden her to lighten her quiver a bit. She, of course, did not touch the magic arrows that rode in a second compartment of her quiver* *Shadow, now pleasantly full, padded next to the fireplace and lay down, watching the occupants of the common room with a regal curiosity* |

Well, I'm in college, and I am currently failing Calculus. I don't know my overall grade, but on the two exams we've had I've gotten 42% and 32%. Damn 8am classes!

That was me when I was taking German. It is a lot harder to take a language class in college than in high school because of how much faster you move. You get lost a lot... but at least Spanish is a fairly easy-to encounter language, so you can get good practice... unlike German. Honestly, how many people do you randomly encounter that speak fluent German? |

They believe that Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad were the prophets of Allah (which is their word for God). Each prophet reveled part of His message to his people. Mohammad brought the final piece of God's will to the people, but the Christians and the Jews did not want to hear this message because they did not believe that this was a true prophet (just as the Jews also did not accept Jesus's teachings). Muslims believe that they have the complete message, and thusly view the other two groups as sub-par (but they outright hate Pagans traditionally). But yeah, there goes the whole Allah vs God and the whole Jesus is a prophet thing.

*Elara walked into the common room with a small smile on her face. She was pleased with her practice session last night... she'd split the bull's eye at least 15 times. She took a seat next to Dave and serves herself breakfast. She looked over to find Shadow happily eating another hunk of meat and nodded happily*

*Jade could sense Shuyin's approach, or at least something big, so she went for what seemed to be the standard combo of this tournament. She flapped her wings hard, rising and falling in the air as she did so. From this action a powerful cold wind was generated that was aimed in the direction of the approaching threat and spanning the width of the arena at an angle to drive anything it hits downwards. She cried out the final phrase of her spell as she was flung backwards towards the cealing another 45 feet, stopping just before hitting the domed ceiling*

"Yala'amin Coriakhelek!" (I summon Purple Ice!) *The shaking ground below cracked and exploded in the darkness as massive shards of violet-colored ice shot forth from the earth, jutting into the air at a fast rate and impaling many of the members in the first ten foot radius of the audiance. Their screams rang though the arena, drowning out the echo of the Elven words. The spikes of ice starting at needle-sharp tips and going to as thick as a large tree trunk at it's base* Purple Ice- Jagged spikes of translucent purple ice jut from the ground in a 50 ft radius of the opponent. The ice freezes fire on contact, so Jade is usually in the air when she uses this to protect her sword. They rise to 20 feet in the air, and sprout out in such thick concentration that it is nearly impossible to get out of them or navigate through them. Jade has done so only once. Whirlwind- Jade can spring into the air and use her wings and Chaos energy to create a powerful gale force windstorm that can knock any opponent to their feet. She usually dive bombs them once they are prone. If she flaps too hard she will knock herself backwards though.
