I had an extra day added to my schedule, which brings me up to 26.5 hours this week.

The bad news: I have to work an extra day. Seriously though, more money makes me... something... what's the word for that again? Not angry, the opposite of that.

Ugh. I couldn't stand the Titans expansion. I have it in Gold Edition, but I only play without the expansion.

On another note, I'm glad I found out how to play without that expansion, since there was no way to not install it with Gold Edition.

Anyway, I've been playing World of Warcraft some, Warriors Orochi 2, Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, Gradius V, R-Type Final... you may notice a common theme here: killing things.

it's the URL.

My bookmark goes to http://xeogaming.org - I'm logged in there. Links from /online.php go to http://www.xeogaming.org - important part bolded. Firefox reads that as a different site, so it doesn't automatically log you in there.

I'm guessing that's your issue.

Before we begin, this is mostly a long, personal rant about me being stupid in various ways. Be warned, I don't say "long" without reason. Scroll down until you see the red text if you're not interested in the details.

As I believe we've addressed elsewhere, I've got issues. I'm incredibly distrusting, I have severe confidence issues, I'm practically a hermit unless I have something specific I want to do (buy a game, go to work).

When someone calls me, my first instinct is that I did something wrong. Related to this, I'm uncomfortable around almost anyone in any position of authority. It's not that I do a lot of things I shouldn't, it's just that I think I might be without realizing it.

I'm not actually all that poorly adjusted socially. The other day, I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen in a few months, and we talked for about two hours. Likewise, at work I have no issues making small talk with the customers and some of my coworkers. Yet with anyone I don't know, and anytime I'm not working, you'll rarely get more than a basic acknowledgement of your existence.

Distrusting... in person. Online, meh. Related to the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory, I suppose. I don't have much to worry about talking about this here... but the thing is, I shouldn't have much to worry about talking about this offline. Yet, I do. On a strongly related note, fuck you, Elizabeth. A parent's job involves more than just feeding and clothing your kid, "mom". I've no experience as a parent myself, but if your kid wants to talk about something that's bugging him, just saying "you'll get over it" apathetically is not how you do it.

And the part that really pisses me off about all this?

I know about all these issues. I'm a very analytical person (excessive analysis being the it that I was doing again at the beginning.) Yet... it's because of these problems that I do nothing about them.

Argh. At least there's always humor.

Seriously though, I figured it'd be nice to have a happy counterpart to the Fuck You thread. Basically, it's the opposite - thank someone for something they did, post about good deeds seen or done for you, that sort of thing.

If someone thinks this really needs to be moved it can, but I'd like for this to be something people can cheer up with after posting a new rant in the Fuck You thread.
