| '80s music and dance just solves everything, doesn't it? Especially when M.J. was still slightly black.
They sell bootleg copies of this at a few swap meets. Some people from Rocky got a copy and were showing it off at one of the parties. It's just not the same as seeing it when you're a little kid, with the 3D glasses and watching it in the big theater at Disneyland. I'm amused that M.J. used to get these big name Italian directors for his little music videos (that the length of short films). Scorsese for "Bad" and Coppola for this one. |

| By straight-edge, I mean a person who does absolutely NOTHING when it comes to smoking, drinking, drugs, or sex.
Urban Dictionary's highest rated and most accepted definition: Originated from the punkrock/hardcore scene. The philosophy/life-choice that humans should have strength, pride, dignity, honor, and self respect; that they shouldn't engage in activities that are a disgrace to their minds and bodies. (such as ingesting and/or becoming addicted to harmful substances for fun, lying and/or being two-faced, and sharing your body sexually with another person when there isn't even a true emotional bond there) Though I haven't done any sort of drugs (outside of caffeine via soda, tea, and coffee), I don't count as straight-edge because I drink occasionally and smoke once in a blue moon (not at all enough to be considered a smoker or a drinker, really) and I'm no virgin. I knew there was a reason why I just couldn't stand Jillian. It's bad enough that we of the L.A. area have to deal with her, sometimes on a daily basis (even if you try to avoid watching Good Day L.A. for the life of you). Ah, Good Day L.A.... how you guys never seem to grasp what it means to be an informed media. I got the last one right, but that's mostly just because the first three were just  and so following the logic of the person(s) who wrote it, it's easy to see what stupid little turn it takes after that.

| I'm sure there was a thread about smoking recently, but it wasn't a poll like this.
I, on VERY rare occasions, smoke. As I'd stated somewhere else, I smoke an average of once ever 6 or 7 months. I'm not addicted, and when I do smoke it's usually hookah for flavor. |

| That's terrible! I'm so sorry, Belial. I really don't know what to say that could possibly make such a tender situation any better, but I do hope that your friend's and her mother's family as well as her mother's boyfriend's family are coping well and that you find peace during such a hard time.
