Today, lunch.
When was the last time a paper plate ate you? |

I couldn't make it to NVision. It was either CTIA, CES or NVision, and I picked CES or whichever one is in San Francisco. Y! would only cover for one, and CES is much more funner for me. | |||

Yes, if I find my sugar daddy Asian man.
And the only two instances was the 17 times we played "Rollercoaster of Love" on that road trip with Alan, and this year's Comic Con when I looped "Cartoon Heroes". I still do that here. But, I've been guilty of looping songs. According to iTunes, it's "Cartoon Heroes" and a few others right now. Have you ever had a coffee crash? |

Since my lay-off left me without AAA, I learned how. But, no, I can't because they over-torque the damned thing. Otherwise, yes I can.
Gotta get AAA again. Damn it, forgot my question. Um...it was something stupid...fuckin' A! Fine, something I'm staring at: Travel with Doctor Who or the Stargate Team? |

I am working, dammit. This was lunch time. Or that period before I head to the cafeteria for food, but still lunch time. i work around the other periods of insanity.
And, yes, if you're so fortunate to have me on your IM lists, you'll see what random music is about to befall a video of me doing things in my cubicle. If they didn't want me doing this, I wouldn't have a Macbook. Well, that's not true. I'd still have the Macbook. Anyway, I do have a following. Just not a sensation, and I don't really want to become one. BREW Ninja junk is my calling...whatever that is. |

No, someone walked by at 2:59 and saw me doing the dancing. But, it's so normal to them now that nothing really happens anymore.
And key point, I do this at lunch time when everyone else is getting lunch elsewhere. |

Yahoo! is hosting an Open Hack Day event September 12 - 13 on the Yahoo! Sunnyvale campus. Basically, you'll be able to build and code stuff for free, get a tour of the Yahoo! HQ campus, get food and drink, and do that whole messing around with stuff. Who knows, it might just get you a job/internship at Yahoo!
Employees aren't allowed to participate, but we're allowed to attend both the event and after party and concert afterward. Therefore, I'm extending this out to the older crowd of you (those in the 18, or about to be 18, and older range that don't need parental supervision) to register on our site and get your invite early. If you've got questions, let me know, and I'll see what I can do. No, I won't provide transportation and we won't be seeing my cube...maybe. (Last edited by BREW Ninja on 08-29-08 04:39 PM) |

1. Stitch
2. My new phone (UTS G'zOne Type S) 3. My BBC America remnant of a chair (it's partially blue). What's the longest nose/chest/lip/stomach hair you've ever had? |

I moved for my position. We know that. I had to what was best for me, and know that my friends would be supportive. And, if they're not, they're not really friends.
I moved two years ago up to the Bay Area and haven't looked back for LimeLife, and now I work for Yahoo. Maybe Google's in my future or something else. |

Ok update!
The event is public-only, therefore Yahoos cannot participate, however, we can help to a degree. I will be volunteering on two days of the event. Go to Hack Day.org and process your invitation/registration for the event soon. The event is free, food will be provided, and there are talks of a concert after the entire event. There will be prizes given for competitions and such, and much fun! It will take place on the Yahoo! Sunnyvale (701 First Ave, Sunnyvale, CA) campus on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of September. We will have an internal IRC set up for the event, and a separate WiFi network for all participants. So, come and see what Yahoo! has in store for events and junk. I am only willing to help out with transportation to/from public transit systems in the area (VTA, CalTrain, ACE), but possibly only on Saturday, as I will be working on Friday and I normally take VTA to work. Contact me again if you still need more info. (Last edited by BREW Ninja on 08-29-08 04:43 PM) |

Facebook.
MySpace is like retard hell for the HTML-challenged. That, and work made me join Facebook back when we were developing a widget. And, now that I work for Yahoo, I still need facebook to track other things. Eesh. Ubuntu or Debian? |

Ninja Burger is so old news. Still love 'em. But, no real food. All just a nice little gimmick they got going. Merchandising, mostly.
BREW Ninja, now he exists. |

How is it ergonomically correct? I mean, yes, Yahoo! requires that we all adhere to and they help us do the ergonomic thing, but how is that conveyed in the video?
You can't see the ergo chair, nor can you tell if my monitors are at correct height (they are), if my keyboard is at correct height (it is), that I'm using my left arm to manipulate the mouse (I am), or that my desk is at correct height (it is). And EVERYTHING I use is within reach, or rolling reach. And, I don't take requests, I just do whatever I feel like doing to whatever song is on my iTunes at the time. I'm a temp, too. Says so on my Yahoo! badge.
But, not wanting injured employees, we are required to undergo an ergonomics training class and evaluation period--all done onsite by the Ergo team. However, that shouldn't stop you from doing something about it. All I hear is complaining, and no action. |

No, because even after YouTubing, I still don't know who that is. You kids and your music.
Have you ever wanted to just do it with some hottie in an elevator? |

I run Firefox on my PCs and my Mac.
Internet Explorer is on the Pocket PC, because I can't find a freeware solution to not having IE on the Windows Mobile device. Opera mobile is expensive. Should be free. I don't like Safari on the Mac. It has random rendering issues. It's fine on the iPhone (I don't own one), and I'd run Google Chrome (aside from that found on the Android device) but don't wanna. Hell, if Yahoo! had it's own browser, I'd be using that instead since so many Yahoo! things are preloaded on my Mac. I do run the IETab extension on my Firefox for those sites that just don't go universal and cater to MS IE instead. I checked with my contact at Google, and she said they're not doing add-on support for the public quite yet, but it's not impossible to do. There's more support for the Android devices right now (even though they're all pre-commercial) than for PCs. But, it's coming. Other than that, INTARWEBS! Edit: I installed Google Chrome on the PC Virtual Machine on my Mac. (Last edited by BREW Ninja on 09-02-08 07:30 PM) |

It's a side-effect of working for Disneyland. All of my clothing is still folded in this method, and I just don't like the way my mom used to fold my laundry. I used to redo it after she did it, and when she visits or I visit, and there's laundry, I still refold it after she does it. It just takes up too much space, and this is much easier. And dreadfully ingrained, along with the summer fireworks schedule. |
