Yes, you should.
Disney's way was just the manner in which we were instructed for display purposes in the stores. And a few items had characters in weird places, so we had to alter folding schemes. And then there was the Homeland Security requirements for our uniforms...eesh. |

Yes, but not in the religious sense.
Do you believe that there's only about 100 real people, and everyone else in the world is a recirculated NPC? |

Not that I can remember. I mean, maybe those small little city elections and such where it directly impacted me, but nothing that I can significantly remember.
What was the color of your very first school backpack, and what character--if any--was on it? |

I have TMJ, and it stemmed from too much stress and grinding my teeth at night. Which is why I have a night guard now.
Ever called back someone who calls and hangs up? |

Windows Movie Maker should work, and if it doesn't, any software that came with your webcam, maybe.
I don't know, I have a DV camcorder and a Macbook with the built-in iSight and iMovie. I used the iSight and iMovie to make that video because I didn't feel like messing with my PC and the DV camcorder. Just faster. And, it wasn't a huge production. Just something quick while I was folding my underwear. Yes, underwear. |

Well, three-dimensional objects are what we know. The fourth dimension is time, and the rest of the dimensions (up to 10) can't really be experienced by our species.
And, just like other people have said, just because a building has multiple surfaces on it doesn't make it X-dimensional. It's all still 3-D. And this is the best way to explain the 10 dimensions that I've found: |

I have four LJs. My own tsahacker, Captain John Hart from Torchwood, the BREW Ninja's old tech blog, and my dog's blog. So, given that I like to have arguments with myself, sometimes I will find myself doing this spawned from a comment in one of the LJs. Do you have moments of insanity?
I'm notorious for doing this in Facebook too, and if we could have dual-accounts on here, I'd probably do it here too. Anyway, an example of my randomness: BREW Ninja's LJ Comments. P.S, I also do this at work, but in IM and Mail format, and it usually ends up looking like this: (mobileqa## is a Yahoo! test ID; askabrewninja is me) mobileqa1337 Hey dork askabrewninja isn't it a bit early for this/ mobileqa1337 You missed the question mark. Shift and then that key askabrewninja it's called a slash. mobileqa1337 Yeah. Slash you askabrewninja what does that even mean? mobileqa1337 Your face, that's what. askabrewninja Our face, you mean. We are the same person. Just two IM thingies. mobileqa1337 No, definitely your face. Because i'm awesomeness askabrewninja This is stupid. I'm gonna block you. You know, test case. mobileqa1337 Fuck you. I'll just jump on another im thing askabrewninja hey! Language, mister. mobileqa1337 Yeah, its what im speaking. askabrewninja Look, I don't know what you've mobileqa1337 You're just mad that i'm better at it askabrewninja been...WHAT!? WE'RE THE SAME BLOODY PERSON! How can you be better at this than me? mobileqa1337 Cuz im the brew ninja and youre not askabrewninja lazy with the punctuation now, aren't we? mobileqa1337 Fuck off its hard on this phone askabrewninja Haha, "hard". mobileqa1337 See? Childish. You know what? Screw this askabrewninja Fine, I don't need you for testing. Your moments of random insanity? (Last edited by BREW Ninja on 09-03-08 02:19 AM) |

Yeah, I can't switch because we use specific add-ons (internal and public) created specifically for Firefox, and switching to any other browser (IE included) would hamper much of my work. And, I don't like the simplified interface of Chrome. It's almost like a kiddie-browser. I know that the Android framework is beneath it, and knowing what Android can do, I'm a little disappointed with the appearance. | |||

Why wasn't multi-voting enabled? I mean, I use multiple browsers because of my working environment and testing my website when I make changes. I have IE loaded on the virtual machine and Google Chrome, my Mac comes with Safari and I use Firefox instead. My PC at home has IE, but I don't use it, I have Firefox running on that. All the Linux machines are running Firefox or their standard open-source browsers.
I do believe it is too early to vote on this as well. |

I work with Google people all the time now, and I like their Android-driven products, but I can't use Google Chrome just yet. Not because of stubbornness, but I have proprietary tools that were built for Firefox that I just can't use on Chrome. And, I just don't feel like customizing yet another browser.
If the cloudware implementation takes off, and Chrome is the way to go for cloud computing, then I'll make the full switch, but I'm happy with Firefox. I have no issues with waiting a few seconds for the browser to launch, or waiting a few seconds for something to load. I, frankly, don't understand why a few seconds wait is such a big deal. I mean, I depend on the slowness of my PC (and occasionally the Mac) to give me time to do other things. Ergo, I come in on mornings, power up the Mac and launch all the things I need for the day (VPN connection, Firefox, Entourage, Yahoo IM, Adium, Windows Virtual Machine) and then run off to get breakfast or whatever else needs preparation. By the time I get back, I'm connected, everything is launched, mail has downloaded and the Virtual Machine is pumping away on its end. Even if I sat here and watched it, I'd still only be waiting about 5 seconds for it to launch. And Google Chrome is taking just that long to launch. It's running on the Virtual Machine, but I don't really use it--again, the proprietary tools. So, until I have an explicit need, I'm sticking to Firefox. I like the ability to tweak things in the about:config and the ease of add-ons from mozdev, and the fact that we can create add-ons, and that it interfaces with Thunderbird, and some other thing. Chrome is awesome on the Android-driven phones. But, I'm just not ready to take it on my PC/Mac quite yet. It seems like it would be a lightweight and powerful solution to mobilized or specialized computer environments of the cloud computing present and future, not so much in the land of PC computing, if you're doing more with your browser than simply surfing the web and checking e-mail, watching videos and playing Flash games. Like I am. |

Not a disorder. I'd say a side effect of being over-cautious. Zoso has OCD, I think.
I feel that it's a blessing, mostly because I hate that society labels that which it finds obtrusive and odd as a disease. Hey, you manage OCD and ADHD correctly, and learn to live with it without interfering in so-called "normal" society, and you've got a nice talent for several professions. Particularly, QA work in my case. Meticulous and restless/multi-tasking. Do you think ADHD is a blessing or a curse? |

Actually, not all rap can be lumped together. Some of the songs of some rap artists actually quite a bit of undercurrent intellectualism to them that others just don't. Hip hop tends to follow suit with this as well. There are a few songs in GTA: SA radio stations alone that have deeper meanings than what is conveyed in naked lyrics.
But, I like both genres. Just nothing country. Damn whiny music. Mirrored sunglasses, or jet-black? (Last edited by BREW Ninja on 09-04-08 04:47 PM) |

This is old news, but I noticed that it wasn't mentioned and I want one.
In Chicago, there's been discovered (and adopted) a kitty that has four ears. The other two ears make him look like he has little evil horns, and his expression doesn't help him look less evil. He was found in an alley behind a bar and "adopted" by the owner of the bar, whom kept the cat in a cage near the bar to amuse his customers. A local couple and frequent patrons saw the cat, and asked if they could actually adopt it and take care of it (since the bar owner was obvious just using the poor thing to drive business). So, they've got Yoda, the so-called "Devil Cat". Full Article |

I like Monk, but I only watch when something else isn't on. Usually Chowder wins.

Buy the car.
Rent the apartment. Lease on life. Would you rather be forced to remove your shoes and socks at work, or forced to wear socks and sandals at the beach? |

So far, since I arrived at 9:30, excluding the meeting at 11:30 till 12:30, then the meeting from 2:00 till 3:00, means that I've been here about four to five hours thus far. Excluding poopy runs, pee runs, coffee runs, phone calls, and general walking around. Although, the laptop went with me on one of those coffee runs and one of the phone calls.
Have you ever wanted to test video games, and think that it's the coolest job ever? |

Yes, it's called work.
Anyway, video game testing got me to Yahoo, and Yahoo is fun. But testing, not so much. Unless you're awesome at what you do. Platter of finger foods left on the balcony from another department's party or square-root of negative one? |

I've got 4GBs of RAM on my work computer, so I don't really care what Firefox does. And, it's not a big a memory hog as version 2 was. I haven't had as big an issue with memory on either of my computers with Firefox. And, how else am I expected to do automated testing cycles on a browser that barely supports the internet basics.
I'm sure that Chrome will be the unit to replace all as the world becomes more dependent and a bit more lazy, but I'm still a Firefox user and a Firefox fan. I can host IE off of it, I can emulate all manner of PC and phone configurations, there's an add-on for every single one of our software requirements, and I can host all of our internal proprietaries directly from the browser. I have no need to run anything else (even though I still do because the web interface to most of our stuff is just a pain). I honestly don't understand why having something be a memory hog (of which it's not) is such a bad thing? Just close and reopen if that's the issue. I've had more problems running windows and having that be a hog than anything else, but then, I'm a converted Mac user now because that's all I use for work (I do miss the ability to right-click, though). What the hell was I talking about? |
