| Kate was doing her job well, stationed in the tower she was assigned to as the onslaught began. She picked off demons here and there with a Battle Rifle at her disposal. Unfortunately, the tower was very close to the battle itself.
As the tension was raised and the flood continued its brutal assault, the demons began to attack the tower she was on, and after several thuds and clangs, the structure gave way to the beating, and toppled over into the interior wall of the city. As it crashed down, Kate rolled out of the sniper pit, and onto the street with minor cuts and bruises. Over the sound of gunfire and screams, she heard Aiden's voice, ordering people to retreat. She panicked and did as was ordered, running with the people fighting as well. She never really learned any of their names or really cared to bother. Names get lost in the gloom of death that was undoubtedly upon them all. |

| Alright, here's the skinny.
You choose from one of many legendary heroes and progress through a storyline with missions, simbattle style. I'll even provide maps. It'll be a one player per thread thing, but many people can do this in separate threads. You will be given a weapon to fight with based on your character. You'll be hacking and slashing your way through swaths of enemies, fighting much stronger captains and whatnot on your road to completing the mission you are tasked with. I'm even going to implement a level up system and items and weapons upgrades after each mission. I'll even let you make your own character, just let me know what side you want to be on. I'll put up the factions soon. Choose your weapon, too. Nothing spectacular. Just want a basic weapon, and I'll make upgrades for it. We need your input! Cairoi suggested that people who pick certain characters should interact in other people's scenarios if their character is present in it as an ally or an enemy. Would you like this, or would you like it stay simple, only with your character in that thread? It's up to you, but if you choose the former, you MUST stay active. This is imperitive; otherwise your character will leave the battlefield/get killed off depending on how the storyline goes.
