| Martin accepted the coffee from Daren with a nod. He took a silver flask with a gold inlay out from his coat's pocket and mixed a small amount of it's contents with the coffee. He took a sip, a pensive look on his face.
"You know, I've been looking for an assistant. Someone to keep the files in order and the office intact. One of the apartments above the office is open, so you could just stay there." He took another sip. "How's that sound?" |

Grey, speckled with white. History: Robert has always dreamed of being a fighter pilot, but do to severe color blindness he would never be able to fly any sort of plane. | As the man gardened, a figure appeared behind him. The details of the figure were indiscernible due to the dark tendrils of smoke writhing around it. There was a crunching sound as the figure crossed into the border of the rose garden. Every plant near him instantly began to wilt.

| The moment before the petals hit, the figure's corona of shadow solidified, creating a barrier. Petals embedded into the shell and exploded, leaving craters in the exterior. When the barrage had ended, the shell evaporated, revealing the man beneath. He wore a solid black outfit, with almost none of his face exposed. All that could be seen were his piercing blue eyes. A cloud of tendrils still surrounded his feet.
"Surohm, I am Corsic, third to become Shadow Lord of Death. I have no wish to end your life, but you stand in my way." Corsic extended his right arm, and a tendril shot out, forming a blade, four feet long, and paper thin. The weapon seemed to hum with energy. "Stand down, or I will be forced to eliminate you." |

| For me, one of the biggest is Mrs. Doubtfire. Not only is it one of Robin Williams' best movies, and one of the closest I've seem to a perfect movie, but ever since my parents split up, it's kinda touched home for me. Especially his little speech at the end.

| The moment after the grenade left Surohm's hand, Corsic released his blade and ducked underneath. He spun back up and grabbed the handle with his left hand. The pedals whizzed by him, two of them grazed his arm, close enough to cut, but not enough to cause them to detonate.
As he stood back up, a tendril surrounded Corsic's right hand and solidified, forming a sharp encasement. He jabbed the knife-hand towards Surohm's ribs, while keeping a strong grip on his larger blade. If the opponent let go to attempt to block the smaller blade, then Corsic could easily gut or decapitate his foe. |
