EDIT: Also, my main character: Name: Ethan Attarima Age: 16 Appearance: Ethan has short black hair and light blue eyes. He usually dresses in darker clothing. He bears a scar on his forehead from a battle of Capture the Flag at camp. Parent: Nyx (Goddess of Night) Magic Items: A golden Drachma, used for luck. Heads gives him more luck, and tails will cause bad luck. He obtained this item on his first quest. Background: Growing up, Ethan never understood where his mother was. His Father did the best he could raising him and his older brother, but was rarely home. Ethan started wearing all black as a sign of rebellion, and to hide in school. He never did well, and was diagnosed with ADHD and had reading problems. At 13, a new kid named James moved to town and befriended Ethan. At first, it was innocent. They would go to Ethan's house and play videogames or read comics. Until James turned into a storm spirit and tried to kill Ethan, killing his brother instead when he ran in to see what was happening. It was then that two kids a bit older than him ran into the room with bronze swords and killed the creature. Ethan was taken back to Camp Halfblood, where he learned that his mother was a goddess and he was a demigod with magic powers. The Greek Gods were alive. Ever since, Ethan has been at camp training, waiting for the the Oracle to awaken again and give a new quest. It has been over a year since the last.... Whichever you prefer," Phoenix kept going without missing a beat. "As you guessed, why not tell us how you founded your way to the board. Not only this time, however, but how you made your way back a few months ago." Pulling a chair over to get a better view of the television, Phoenix sat expectantly. His interviewee was making things interesting. |

At first, I thought it was simply because the bots are dumb and broke something. But Hiryuu isn't a bot, and the error is there, as well. Just pointing this out in case no one else noticed |

| So, I'm still working all of the time. I have off Wednesday (tomorrow), but I plan on writing my Halloween short story and then hanging out with Vince.
After that, I work until Sunday, have off Monday, go back Tuesday and I don't know after that. My job is actually pretty easy, and fun, depending on who is working with me. This one kid is a lazy ass, but he's been there for years so he'll never get fired  |

| So, I finally saw Kick Ass.
I haven't read the comics at all, but the movie is damn awesome. I was genuinely surprised by the amount of gore, though. Spoiler:
When Kick Ass goes to stop Rasul and Hit girl shows up, my jaw dropped in utter amazement. Gotta love the music playing, too I really like the movie, and will probably pick up the book. Cairoi informs me that he is a Heroes fan in the book |

| So, I finally beat the campaign on Normal. Now to try out Legendary. Oi. This is coming from the kid who dies killing Grunts in Firefight on Heroic. Good luck, me.
I was a little late to actually beat the game, but I like it. The story is great, and the ending was pretty bad ass. |

| So, as most of you know, I deliver the newspaper in my area during the nights. I'm a hardcore paper-man through and through.
In any case, it's damn freezing out recently with the seasons changing and Winter slowly creeping up on us. It is a large pain in the ass to deliver these things, but I do it anyway. In one part of my route, I am outside of the car more than I would like to be when it's this cold. Sure, I could be lazy like the person who delivers the other local newspaper and just throw the papers at the sidewalk, but I'm not. From where they throw it to the door is an extra twenty feet, give or take. Not really a big deal, as it takes a few extra seconds for me to walk up and drop the paper right at the doorstep instead of winging it at the walk. To me, it hasn't really occurred as anything that was a big deal. Today, however, someone was waiting up for me to come by and deliver their paper. I got out of the car and greeted them, handing them their paper. What I got in return was a thank you letter and bag full of assorted soups to "help keep us warm". Those few extra feet made the difference for someone that much, and that action made my day. I'm really happy about this. I'm writing them a thank you letter and giving it to them tomorrow. So, Xeogaming, have you ever received gratitude for something small, or given it to someone and put a smile on their face? |
