It's REALLY cliche, but it really is me, but "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks.

While on the way home from the gay pride festival with Zabuza and our friend, Bernie, as I was singing the song out loud and listening to the lyrics, I realized this was me talking to my boyfriend, Brandon (Zoso). I constantly say the same things to him or very similar things. He has never asked me to change the way I am, but I do always seem to turn to him and say, "Sorry, I'm a bitch," and he usually grins and jokingly says he wouldn't have it any other way or assure me that he doesn't see it that way.

In the past, however, I have dumped people because they couldn't accept the way I am or wanted to change me to be a lesser person, one less bold or extroverted. Brandon's definitely different.

I really wanna go, but Aly's gig is tonight at 9. They kick the under 21's out at 10, though.

Hmmm me as a metro could work, but not really... I mean, then again, I could easily be confused for a lesbian, so I guess I'm the female equivilant.

All right, let's give this the good, old team try.

I'm wiping the scores clean and starting this over. Everyone starts out equal and I'll just ask basic film questions. Okie dokie, artichokie?

So for 1 point to the first person with the complete correct answer:

Who was the first villian Batman ever fought in a full-length motion picture (campy '60s Batman movies excluded)?

Hon, I'm sorry, but questions like these and what sport you play are more like "Guess what's in Makura's head" rather than solid facts that anyone can fairly answer with.

Not asking you to be Alex Trebeck or anything, but just try to provide more objective questions. Thanks.

Holy crap, people are recommending I talk to someone. Zoowie!

EDIT: Just for the record, Uzu sweetie, I know what you meant.

I personally think there's too much bullshit that revolves around sex. Like the physical act has got hurt, rage, taboo, and love in its gravitational pull or something. It comes with being human, I suppose.

It's human to be physical with someone and it's human to want it. These things tend to make it the most difficult topic to really discuss.

I used to be one of those people that was saving myself and thinking it was only for the man I'd marry, but once the virginity's gone and you open up a bit, you tend to lose that ideology.

Anyway, as some have said, sex can either hurt or help a relationship; either way, it changes things no matter how much you might believe it doesn't. Your relationship is already changed now that you've partaken.

When it comes to most females, when they have their first (consensual) sexual interlude, it's usually because they trust, and in most cases, have strong feelings for the other. After a bad first sexual encounter many can fall into depression or be turned off from sex altogether. This can be because they feel the man has used them just for sex, feel degraded, any number of things.

The key is to not let emotions get too involved. Consider her feelings, though. It can be a much more emotional experience for the woman, as I've said. Was she really wanting it, like did she invoke it? Was it acting in of the heat of the moment? Take heed of these feelings.

I didn't lose my virginity 'til I was almost 19, but before that I had partaken in several physical acts with others. If you can control your emotions and act on sheer pleasure, it can be a lot more fun, but for those who can't (specifically many females) they tie too much emotion into it and can easily end up hurt.

With my boyfriend, Brandon (Zoso), it's not a huge part of our relationship, but we are very active. It's an intimate part of our relationship and I often feel a deeper connection during and after with him. Having a very giving partner can contribute to positive feelings toward sex.

Other things to consider would be contraception. As if sex weren't a difficult enough topic, STD's and pregnancy can be even more hurtful between lovers. If you're going to partake, Stop, Think, and Act Responsibly (STAR). If you're both REALLY wanting it and don't have protection, STOP! Do you really want to risk it? Either don't hit it or go out and buy condoms. There's no law that prevents ANYONE from buying them, of age or otherwise.

Sex is a safe and pleasureable act between two (or more) people. There's really nothing to worry about if you're smart about it. It's a healthy act.

If you need any help with anything specific, just ask. PM me, IM me, anything you want to do. Sorry if I wasn't much help.

Beowulf: thanks for insulting my knowledge, especially when you have absolutely no experience and have probably done nothing more than hear all of the bad things about sex from your parents and propaganda in school. You're 15.. 16, maybe?

*New flash* NOT EVERYONE HAS AIDS!!! It's preventable and I HIGHLY doubt Desroth's girlfriend is carrying anything, especially at their ages. You're making it sound like sex with anyone, no matter how much experience they have, will infect their partner, regardless of protection.

Sex IS much safer than people give it credit. Yes, you do have to smart about it by protecting yourself, but perpetuating propaganda like this is the kind of thing that can ruin others' relationships which it looks like you're trying to do, Jon.. Nathan, whatever you choose to be called now.

When used correctly the average condom has a failure probability of 2%. To ensure successfully preventing pregnany and STD's, it's best used with a spermicide.

Now on this "breaking things to her," Desroth, it's your choice if you want to continue. Don't think of your parents or anyone else on this one, seriously. It's your business what goes on between the sheets. If you choose to stop for your friends, it's you decision, but consider wisely WITHOUT the "bros before hoes" motto.

Desroth, I would expect your girlfriend will either want to be around you more or around you less, but if she did like it as you say, you can almost expect to see her more. As others have said, just be a sweet boyfriend and you have nothing to worry about. Just don't force her into anything. Take it slow, but at the same time, explore a bit.

Hello new-person-to-the-board! Know Shaddow?

Yeah, you'll get the whole "know the rules" and "don't flame or spam" talk from others, and whether you know what the is or not, it's good advice. Just remember to post relavent replies and topics, with at least 10 words in your post (or less with very strong meaning), not to be off topic and simply to just be respectfully and have fun.

Well, enough with all the expected welcome nonsense, just stick around and talk with us. It'll be fun.

I had a fun one last night, that a bunch of my friends decided to start the very first "Lord of the Rings" shadow cast and I, for some reason, was playing Arwen. We even planned out how I would run around the stage, away from the ring wraiths as though I were on my horse.

Seeing as I already work for a shadow cast, this was just hysterical. At the same time, Zabuza, Zoso, and I were just at a show last night for a cast I'd been dying to see for a while now.

Posted on 05-28-05 08:54 PM, in Rogue's guide to composing a "Welcome newbie" post Link
I don't post often in the newbie forum, at least, not much any more. You could say there are a few reasons for this. They're free posts. No one really cares what you say. Too much activity in them could beconstrued as spamming.

Either way, I've read my share of posts in there and the trends are simple to follow.

For those who have had much difficulty in mastering the art of posting for newbies, here are a few simple steps to follow:

1) Greet the newbie with a friendly, ecstatic welcome. Newbies are sensitive and need our immediate acceptance, thus we ensure their similation into the board with over-enthused greeting to make them feel like people care that they're here, though they doubt they'll ever see them again.

2) Pack in as many commands as "Read the rules," "don't spam/flame/stop posting," or otherwise just insist on being active, as possible! This is important because it just seems that all newbies are just fuckin' dumb or can't seem to grasp our comlicated ways right off, as perceived by all regulars. We need to get them on the right track, right away. Forget that they'll never actually read the rules or even take what you say with more than a grain of salt, but just the sheer feeling that you told them to straighten up and fly right is satisfying enough to bestill your beating heart. For added affectiveness, throw in a few smiling emoticons. Never under-estimate the power of emoticons, you can be completely trite with someone, in a post, and they won't even be mad or hurt if you end it with the right emoticon.

3) RP that you're giving the newbie something useful, fun, edible, or all of the above. This gives the newbie further feeling's of acceptance into our kooky little world and tells them, "Hey, we love you and we're cheap." Hell, why not, it's free and complete happiness for every n00b is just a few keystrokes away.

4) Once you've finished with your "welcome newbie" post, copy and paste it in every newbie's thread. Not only do you earn an unspeakably large amount of posts, but you've raised your activity without even thinking twice about your posts's content.

5) Repeat the process as necessary.

There you have it. Now you too can be an expert at welcoming new people to our little neck of the net. It's fast, free, and easy like much of the net.

Disclaimer: You're not going to take offense to this, are you? Oh c'mon! C'mon! It's just a joke. Don't cry.

LOL, I've just always noticed n00bs, and regulars for that matter, tend to avoid reading rules figuring, "Hey, I'll just use common sense" and end up stepping on someone's toe... usually Kaijin's.

Well let's see, the bit about user comments looks fairly new... so does the XPW part. Hmmm...

Yeah, I've noticed with every forum there are sets of rules, but people don't read them. They tend to have low views.

Anyway, I attack the newbie forum for the fact that it REALLY is easy to make up for activity by posting the same old shit over and over in newbie threads. It's just funny because I remember when I was new here and I was getting so many kind welcomes, but as my time wore on here, I noticed it really was just all the same thing over and over again... but then again more people more people posted in my newbie thread than any other.

I personally don't care about this, but I actually wanted to hear what you have to say about it.

Here is where you can find the internet version of it:

http://www.spicyparis.com/paris.html

For those who don't have Carl's Jr.s or haven't seen this commercial, Paris Hilton did this commercial of her suggestively washing a car, wearing this little black swimsuit-type of one-piece suit, and every now and then eating one of Carl's Jr.'s hamburgers. Religious groups, moral groups, concerned parents, and people that just like to get pissed about everything are fuming about this commercial.

Is it almost soft core porn or are you like me and see no huge problem with it and don't give a flying fuck?

Well one thread for your welcome is more than enough, so I'll take care of these.

First rule you'll probably need to hear, just don't start threads that have already been done or with little relevance. You're new, so no warning.

That aside, welcome to the Xeogaming Forums. I'm sure Clathana can show you around. Then again, it's a message board. It's not hard to navigate on your own and I'm sure you're a big boy, so you can find your way on your own.

Seeing as it's almost completely necessary to give the newbie something, here's a mop and towel to clean up all that wasted Faygo Sajin sprayed you with. *hands over the afore mentioned items*

A real pity. Brand new and already cleaning up a mess. Well, all part of the board life.
