I really want to see this. It looks great, and as you said, it is great. I really liked The Bourne Identity, which I'm reading the book right now. The movie seems to have a stellar cast. Leonardo Dicapio (I don't know how to spell it either), Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson are all great actors. May I ask though, is this movie so great that it could possibly be your favorite?

Because his ride doesn't arrive until after 72 hours. The game has 5 endings altogther. I haven't seen any of them yet, but my friend has unlocked one of them. I really wanna see the last ending though because after that, you go into OVERTIME MODE.

Posted on 10-15-06 01:07 AM, in So I had my first TOB today Link
For those who don't know, a TOB is a Tournament of Bands, or a Marching Band competition. I originally hadn't planned on going to this on account of I wasn't supposed to be here for most of the day. Instead, I slept late and ended up having to go to the TOB since I missed the other thing.

Anyways, it was a lot of fun. It was the first performance for our school EVER. We're a new school, and we had just started our Marching Band. We didn't do too great, nor too bad. We came in last, but only lost by a very small fraction. We didn't expect to win, considering we're a brand new school, so we weren't sad. We were just glad that we had fun.

Really, I think that we just weren't ready for it this time. We had only gotten one out of four sets done by the time we had to go. We only had two trumpets, me being one of them, and we hadn't done very well at all. I was really nervous so I wasn't playing my part out too much, and the other one barely knew any of the songs. For a new school, I think we did quite well.

I have another TOB to go to next week, and hopefully that one will go better than this one. I really hope things improve over the season.

EDIT: I'm REALLY TIRED right now, so I'm off to sleep.

New style/theme and slight layout change. I no longer have the image on the side, and I've made a few other slight changes. Any suggestions on anything, especially images, that I could do to make this even more awesome?

Since I have nothing better to do, I might as well judge each entry now.

.SK - It was funny, but I'm having a few issues with it. The hat looks terrible. Most other parts of drawing seem as if something could be slightly changed to make it look better. For example, if you made the cloak on the guy larger on the left side, it would make it look like he has a right arm. From what you did it's not too great. Good job with everything else though. If I could give you an award, I would give you the award for funniest entry.

Clockworkz - That was great. Really nice job with the detail. Nothing else to say.

Fooly Cooly Kirby - It's great that you used color, but marker was not a good choice. Always use color pencil. Also, yours was fairly simple. You could gone a lot further with that if you tried harder.

Max - Fantastic. The detail was great. The only problem I have is the guys face. The front side of it looks kinda square. Everything else was awesome though.

My vote for best entry is Max's.

I just recently started using this theme. I think it's pretty cool even though I have better ones. I really like my Wallpaper. Sometimes I'll use a Screen Saver as my Wallpaper.

Note: I shrunk the icon size down for the picture, but I may leave them that way. I normally have them bigger than that.

It's been 1 year since I've joined XGF. This past year on hear has been quite enjoyable, even though I have only made 250 posts. It was interesting to miss all the fun events and to hear about them later. I must say, I never thought I would've stayed devoted to this board for so long. I've never stayed a member on a website for a whole year before. I still remember the day I joined when the banner was the same as it is today, and it still says "Now a year old." You may wanna fix that.

With all the said, I want to close by saying that for my first year on XGF wonderful, though I have not been quite active. I do plan on becoming more active since I love you guys so much.

I just dislike markers because when you use them, a lot of times you can see lines and what not in the colors. It just looks bad overall. That's just me though.

Since my last post about my music, I've made a couple new songs. This time I would like to base this thread soley around two of my pieces: The Agent Preview and Slice Up Loop. I want to know what you think of each. The Agent is already finished, but I want to know if you guys like it enough that I should definetely submit it. As for Slice Up, I want to know if I should make that a full song or not. I'm just asking for some opinions on this. Don't ask for anything too complicated because I'm running on a very weak program, so it's very hard to do what I've been doing. Just give me some ideas on what I should do with each. You can either tell me them here or in a review to the songs. I would really appreciate this.

They're good, don't get me wrong, but they hurt my ears. x_X

MAYBE IT'S THE LOUD BLARE OF DRUM N BASS THAT HURTS YOU'RE EARS. Or you could just turn the volume down.

Terrible samples? I always thought GarageBand was bad, but I didn't know that the samples sounded MIDI like.

Apparently I'm just not appealing to your tastes. What kind of song would you like me to make?

It's that beep beep every so often with the Agent one that bothered me... Was that a saxaphone?

But every other note sounded fine... it just... I don't know.

As for the loop... while I don't really like it just because it's not my taste of music, it does loop very well (IE, I couldn't even tell until I'd listened 6 times that it wasn't going anywhere and was playing over and over) seemlessly, infact. Well there's a tiny pause, but it's hard to detect... Would make for some decent fight music.

...

And as for my tastes of what sort of song you would play... uh... I wouldn't suggest trying to deviate from your style enough to fullfill them... but if you're going to allready...

For a techno-ish piece, I like Neo Classical! ... which is somewhat similar to what you do... *think think* Y'know... Remix of some old classical piece... anything baroque would do...

And for something origional, I like slow jazz-ish piano. *cough*

--------

o.o I don't even know what I want... I just wanted to comment so that other people would post on your thread... Don't take me too seriously... I know nothing about anything...

The "BEEP BEEP" was actually a very low quality horn section. I didn't change it in the final, but I might.

I didn't think the other one looped to well. That pause really messed it up. I might make a WAV version of it and submit that.

I may be able to do some of that stuff. Not too sure with GarageBand and all, but I could.

Sorry.

There's no way I can remix a classical song as well as DJ Taka did in that piece, but I can try. Maybe I'll do... hmmmmm... I have this huge book of classical pieces here. Maybe I'll find something I like in there.

Wrong. AIFF is a QuickTime file. AVI is an uncompressed movie file. It's really not a good idea to use AVIs in my opinion, but some obviously prefer to anyways.
