Y'know, I expected him to mangle the lyrics, but overall a surprisingly good drunk performance. A fair number of mistakes, but no more than I'd expect from a sober man. Off-key, but surprisingly accurate.

That's my biggest problem with April Fool's. It's so rare to see something creative.

There was an amusing, though not all too unique, twist on the Sonic Robo Blast 2 news page - every part of the 2.1 preview, including the unlikely ones (like using lua scripting to, for example, control one of the boss vehicles) was real, and fooled half the forum.

It's actually kind of funny, because that's exactly how a lot of shit in Congress used to be worked out. Beer included, sometimes. Sadly, current leaders refuse to even consider it, and it shows in the rampant hostility on both sides.

I'm not so sure it's a bad idea. It just needs to be done more universally.

Republicans and Democrats should see each other exaclty as your boyfriend's dad does - as people they disagree with, not as The Enemy. But how many do?

Y'know, just as a sort of compromise so you don't have to fight too much about it. They're new, it may work better to just let minor things slide (easier to ignore an item name than a character name) for the sake of getting the game going - and getting them interested enough to not fight about it next time.
