| You are looking at the KEY to winning the console war!
No matter how many times I view the trailer, I get more excited on every view, and the more motivated I am into learning all I can into the mysteries behind Metal Gear Solid 4... I know alot of you must have viewed the trailer...Who hasnt? It was one of the most remarkable trailers since Elder Scrolls 4...But what is the difference between the MGS trailer and the others? Hideo has announced that it was all in real time... The new Cell Processor is going to be the key to winning the console war...Mixed with Mr. Kojima, I have no doubts that this game will kick major ASS! Ok, In the MGS4 cover issue of Game Informer. Kojima has stated that it is hard to believe that the MGS4 trailer was not CG'd...But thats the thing that Kojima is bringing to life here...a new step in the way we play video games... In MGS1, Hideo showed us a new way of playing video games by sneaking around instead of running-and-gunning...Plus he introduced an amazing storyline that will soon make our jaws drop... In MGS2, he showed us what the Processor can do for the next generation consoles of the PS2 and XBox Era... Im MGS3, he showed us that characters can live in the videogames...Basicially Survival...Now its time he mixed all three into MGS4... WIth the Cell chip, he wants to bring EVERYTHING to life...If you water a plant, it will grow. If you constantly shoot at a wall, you will notice chips break off, and eventually crater away. If you blast someone in the leg, it will effect the way they walk...You see what Im getting at? Bodies wont just dissappear anymore...they will pile up. And when you shoot someone, they will grab for something and try to continue to kill you...THere are no more health bars. The PS3 is going to go into so much detail, that people will now have a programmed "Heart" inside of them... Another thing that Im going to expect good things from this game is now...the metal Gears will play with your mind...Like a psychological war...Or something... On IGN.com, I read more info about this, and there will be times to where the GW will attempt to make you believe that your friends will be your enemies...Kinda like how the GW did to Raiden when it posed as Rose... Theres also a sweet aspect that I learned about MGS4 that toatally turns the tables around the tradition...THere will be multiple armies... I know for a fact that there will be armies lead by Vamp (Yeah, hes not dead), Ocelot/ Liquid, and GW...But rumor has it that Meryl and Raiden will lead their own armies as well...And heres the interesting part...You get to choose who you want as an ally, and as an enemy...! I know alot more, but I want to hear what everyone here has to say about the new MGS thats "supposed" to come out next year...Your thoughts? |

Unless people can change their mind about CS, Diablo 2, Starcraft, or any other game that just about ANYONE can play...I dont see why not... Untill then, I wanted this thread to die |
