Turtles in Time was alright, but it just seemed to be way too easy compared to the NES games.
TMNT 1 was decent (that's the sidescrolling / overhead one right?) it was just, freaking hard. I couldn't stand the water levels. TMNT 2 / Arcade was pretty awesome, but a little on the hard side. I remember teaming up with kids when I was younger at Chunky Cheesy's, I'd whoop up on the game and everyone would cheer me on ... sometimes. TMNT 3 was my favorite, the one I used to own also. When I was younger, my grandpa (yes) and I would always team up and beat this game. It's still probably my favorite. But yeah, I need to get Turtles in Time. |

Originally posted by The Politician I don't know, towards the end of the game ... I really didn't "fear" the Kid with the Majora's Mask, he was just stupid looking. I don't get the deal with Bongo-Bongo. A lot of people will say that was their least favorite boss, and the hardest one they fought. Seriously, I think the first time I beat that boss I didn't even get hit. I did however have the Biggoron sword, but even so, I've gone through the game plenty of times and Bongo-Bongo has to be probably one of the easiest bosses in the game. Both Shadow Temple and Spirit Temple were pathetically easy in my opinion. I loved the dark eirie (can't spell now) feeling the Shadow Temple gave off, and having fun with my "faithful jumps" without seeing the ground was always fun. The Fire Temple was pretty awesome, not necessarily hard to get around, it just seems to take quite awhile to beat. But yeah, both the Forest Temple and the Water Temple gave me the most trouble. I just had a problem with the Forest Temple puzzles, and finding all the keys and figuring out where to go next ... I can still hear the music cycling in my head. And yeah, the Water Temple just gave me a lot of trouble. The whole water levels / switch to boots -- thing annoyed me. Ganon's Tower? A joke. So yeah, OoT has also got to be one of the glitchiest games I've ever played. Anyone messed with it, with a Gameshark or anything? I remember turning items into bottles, getting so many hearts they're off the screen, using the Moon Jump to get the "you shouldn't get heart" in the Gerudo Fortress. Man, the good days. The only other thing I remember like this was the "You are my best friend [insert name]" site.
But yeah ... way to much freetime. |

It's official, I now own 200 games.
|
Today, I bought an FC NES system (made by Yobo, it works very nicely), and 10 NES games. - Blaster Master - Gradius - Life Force - Super Mario Bros / Track / Duck Hunt - Xevious - Castlevania II - Simons Quest - Castlevania III - Dracula's Revenge - The Adventure of Link - Zelda 2 - Adventures of Lolo - Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles: Arcade Game Yeah, freaking win-naga. The ultimately depressing news? CVIII won't work correctly, and after hearing a ton of people say that's their number 1 favorite CV game, I'm very pissed. I saw another copy at the 2nd store I went to though to buy games, maybe I'll pick it up ... But yeah, every other game works nicely. ... The damage? About $100. But hey, those are some really good games, and I've needed an NES for a long time. w00t.

I sometimes think I may have minor insomia myself. Sometimes at night, I'll sit down and lay down in bed, then instantly I'll start thinking of 10 different things at once, and I just can't stop thinking of "this" and "that", and so on, and it really does keep me up.
|
On average, it usually takes me a good 45 minutes to an hour for me to fall asleep (yes, most of the time when I'm laying down and really trying to fall asleep). (Last edited by Xeo? on 11-04-05 06:03 PM)

I just saw this movie yesterday at a friends, and my pants exploded. This movie is easily one of the best martial arts movies I've seen in a long time, but heck, it's one of THEE best I've ever seen and one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. This is the type of movie that will make you shout "Ahhh, Ughhhhh, Yikes!", and will make you cringe. Tony Jaa is like no other. Think of Jackie Chan, but with more power behind him and a more furious attitude like Bruce Lee and some seriously scary "elbow attacking" tactics, and you've got Tony Jaa. This movie gets my ultimate and highest recommendation to any kind of movie goer. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. I'm really looking forward to future Tony Jaa movies, this guy is just freaking insane.

Originally posted by shadowdude2 That's oddly very true. There's those days once in a month or so when I might stay online ALL night long, and I hardly get tired from it or anything. It's just weird ... But yeah, usually I listen to music before I go to bed, even if it's Dragonforce, eventually the music just fades away and I become very tired and easily slip right into bed.

Well, it's nothing normal members would really notice, other than the favicon showing up next to the site (in Firefox at least). It's more of an issue for staff to be at this location, or else many urls are all messed up and half the pages don't even work.
|
But yeah, it would just be nice if everyone were on the same page for online users.

Originally posted by J. Literal I still think that the final battle in OoT is perhaps the most dramatic boss fight ever. When he comes out of the wreckage of the castle remains, and the final boss music plays (which is extremely awesome), I just get shivers. Very easy boss though, but pretty dramatic and awesome.

Yeah that guy just pissed me off, being so cheap like that. But it was still funny, and freaking scary seeing Ting break about everything that was thrown at him with his rock elbows. Some of the stuff in this movie was just hilarious, when people got hit "through" stuff it just looked amazing. Remember the end when Ting did that knee bomb thing and drilled that guy into the ground? We watched that part like 5 times. XD Then the part when he took that guys knee ... jumped up, and SNAP! Good lord that made me scream. Yeah, probably one of the scariest and most painfully awesome movies I've ever seen. And just a note to everyone else, this is a much more realistic movie, compared to say House of the Flying Daggers, etc. Nothing like that in this.
