Oh no I'm so sorry to hear Xeo, grr!!! I hate it when they say you can have an interview, knowing well enough you want a job and then reject you "ON THE DAY"  it's just ridiculous.
I’ve never liked places like, Target, Big W, Kmart etc. They are really lousy jobs, I mean it’s basically your responisibility to let them know you still want to work and if you don’t receive hours off them for a while, you might as well say you don’t have a job there … but I could be wrong, the system could be different there, but that’s how they treat it here. I’ve had friends who have worked for places like that 
Just don't get yourself down, keep trying, eventually somewhere will be wanting someone to work for them. If you just give up straight away you might as well not have gone for the interview, you might be missing out on a good opportunity. I wish you all the best though for the other jobs. |

| Beowulf Cor Leonis, from what I have read all their doing is trying to help. If you think its offensive that they send you over there, then say it too them and don't go. It would only be for a week, it wouldn't kill you. I get homesick a lot, especially on camps, but it's part of life. You will soon have to leave home and venture off into the world by yourself. It's an experience.
I’m not sure what the colleges are like over there, but here you have your own shower space, you may have to bunk with someone, but it would be separate beds. And one of the things you will encounter at college/school is people, whether your anti-social or not you still talk to people and hey you might even enjoy interacting with other kids there. Just because you had a bad experience with other deaf people doesn’t mean their all the same. And like Bishop-Luc mentioned, go check out New York, I’m sure there is loads you can do in a big city like that

| I know this might be a bit eww! but it's a topic that we all have issues with Where is the strangest place you have found a pimple?
The usual places are the face, neck, back, shoulders and chest. Last week I had a pimple on the end of my noise, it was horrible cause it hurt to pop it. I don't usually get that many pimples, but the occasional one or two on my cheeks. |
