| A couple of months ago, I decided it was time to move out. Honestly, I would have been comfortable with living at home, were my parents not...difficult. It was as if I weren't an adult, and they thought they still had free reign over my life. Besides the fact that they wanted to charge me about $200 a month to live at home.
So, having turned down a proposition from a friend before, I began contemplating. I can pay $200 a month, live at home and put up my parents' bullshit, or I can pay $250, live with a few friends and do whatever the hell I want. Not that I go out and party or anything, but it's nice to just do my own thing. I've been packing up my room for the past two weeks or so, and I take off on October 1st. The move date cam quick, and I'm great at procrastinating, but I feel good about everything...mostly. People, with good reason, have been telling me that it's gonna be hard. Money is obviously a big thing, but I still don't drive yet, either. I'm relying on my friends for a while until I get my license, but with school, work and this...I feel like I have a lot on my plate. I thought this would be a good experience, though. Even if I don't end up liking it, this is the real world and I need to learn how to deal with it. |

| Hahaha. Yeah, little Phoenix is turning into a man.
I really hope my relationship with my parents improves once I'm gone. Because, as of right now, it is a very on-edge one. $250 isn't bad at all. It would be $1,000 plus utilities, but it gets split four ways. Plus, someone has a girlfriend living with them, so she pays the utilities as her share. Cheaper than paying the rent. I expect to pay a lot more once I get a car. I expect about $500 in insurance and a car payment, if I'm lucky. Plus rent, food and my heart medicine...it'll be a little tight. Especially with the hour cut at work. I don't even want to talk about gas. |

What year is it, again? Busy is never the word. I almost forgot this place existed with how much things have changed. Moving out, while a good idea, is extremely expensive. I have no money, and a job not willing to pay me. So I've been searching around for a new job while still balancing this one, and school is just kind of there, nagging me until I curl up into the fetal position and sob like an infant. All in all, I'm swamped. What little free time I do have goes towards writing papers and hanging out with my girlfriend. Skyrim takes up hours I should be sleeping. Hell, I should be sleeping now. |

My first character got deleted by my roommate. He was a Nord warrior dual wielding longswords like a badass. Fuck the police. Now, however, I joined up with the Dark Brotherhood right away. Does anyone else find it interesting that the last Listener was your character in Oblivion IV, and that all the tenets are gone? Iunno, I just thought it was cool. |

But I'm always too busy to swing by. When I'm not working the shitty hours that my boss gives to me, I'm looking for a new job or doing homework for school. Finals just passed, thank god, but I've grown so used to not sleeping that I've developed insomnia again. Blast. I'm barely scraping by, even though my rent is only about $270 a month. With my medicine and other things, I'm spending way too much. Too much stress. I might have to check out craigslist like Katana did and find myself a decent paying job so I can finally afford a car and maybe lessen my load a bit. We'll see. Oh, and I love all of you. <3 Especially Nelrith. |
