I've started writing a book within the last month. Space opera, following the adventures of freelance pilot Jack Cressid as he does odd jobs for the four major nations in this region of the Silver Spiral galaxy, the Theralian Empire, the Zephis Republic, Free State Andus, and United Kelos. And Orine Labs, though they're what we'll call a special case.

Chapter 1 is done, 5570 words so far, 11 pages on 8.5x11.

This is going to be odd, but fuck you Microsoft. What the fuck were you thinking? Still making us pay for Live even after the WiiU got half-decent and PSN is still free (so far...), forcing every game to install to the hard drive as part of an anti-resale campaign...

Perhaps I should be grateful. At least this makes the PS4 vs. Xbox One decision a lot easier. Investors agree - this is Sony's stock value around the time of the announcement.

I didn't, on account of wanting to remain employed and also not owning any, but I wanted to.

There are few things in the world more cruel then finally being happy, finding someone that loves you as you are, and generally feeling like things are going to work out, then having your alarm go off.

My dreams are too real. Basically the only thing missing was smell. Fuck my subconscious.

Just a note, you can get Arena and Daggerfall free on Bethesda's site anyway.

Not a bad deal, and if I had the money I'd consider it, but I already have Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim on Steam. No real point in rebuying them.
