As I mentioned on NFF, the sprites for the NFF banner are well placed, especially Dustman working at the sink. Awesome job there, [E.J.]

Are you guys nucking futz? Choice one is the original. #2 just didn't quite live up to the legend of #1, and for various reasons. Too slow, a bit boring, nothing fun out of it. #2 didn't suck, but it was not better than #1 There is never anything better than after the 1st of anything, with a few exceptions. Maybe you're not thinking straight. But if you guys can't see this.... man, times are tough. Times are tough.

Oops. I meant to say why mine isn't up yet. I don't know how I messed that up. Sorry for the confusion, Zabuza.
But, I do happen to have new pictures I took just a bout 30 minutes ago from this post. Sort of flexing pics. I got done working out and decided to mess around with my camera to see if I'd be able to get anything off it from my trip since my computer is messed up right now. As you can see, it works. These were taken in my room at Ft. McCoy. "Flex" "Green Charge" Another energy blast picture. Only in night vision. "Mirror Shot" "Pose" A weak pose in which I tried to make a good one from. I wasn't trying too hard. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-11-05 09:58 PM) |

I'll first say that you are a very good artist and have drawn them pretty well. Sparda doesn't look perfect, but he's good enough. You've drawn the faces almost like a real anime artist, so that's an awesome thing, especially the first Mira picture. I don't know if you're done with the drawing portion of Sparda, but he could use a little more definition on the chest and stomach. Now, honestly, the second Mira pic is good, but I think the first one looks to be much better. Everything about her except for the arms is just perfect. You've drawn her greatly propotional and she looks like an actual anime character. Maybe some of you can agree with me there. She also looks cuter in the first compared to the second. If anything, you should go about coloring that one and see how it looks. Her post os awesom to, and I can't get over how much her face looks like it's from an actual anime show. Again, draw in a tiny amount of definition to her stomach and then some to her legs and I'd say it just about submittable to an anime company. Awesome work, bud. Hehehe, I remember watching that cartoon. I got up to the plane crash into the cliff before I stopped. But my goodness, it's friggen long. I watched, and watched, and talked on the phone, then watched and it still wasn't over. Needless to say I stopped again.

The Supreme Trainer stands idle as he watches the phonomenon occur around him. A faint glow suddenly emits from his body then disappears. He continues to stand firm in his place, seemingly unaffected but the skill charge.
"You're doing a great job!" he yells. "How much more charge can you put into it. Test yourself!" (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-11-05 10:45 PM) |

Well, I've already beaten the story mode on normal with a friend. We did the co-op missions. The story this time around is a better, but it's also quite a change from the previous two. So far I have 4 platinums of the 5 Arcade League missions I've done. The 5th being a silver. The TV in this room is a bit dark, so it's hard to see in dark levels. And is it just me, or are there VERY few tiles to choose from in the Mapmaker? Speaking of which, if you guys want to try something fun, make this map I've done in the previous two games- iI call it the "Claustrobox". As you can imagine, it's one small box for the entire level. Just one square on the Map field. Throw in weapons in three of the corners and a spawn point in one and you'll have loads of fun (not to mention extremely quick deaths.

Not too long after you set out on your journey you finally reach your destination: The great and beautiful kingdom in which the grand and famous Supreme Trainer resides- Avalus, a medieval kingdom with futuristic assets. You walk through the people-filled streets and admire the liveliness of the place. Odd-shaped hover-carriages glide just a couple above the ground and pass you with a constant, noisy hum. Someone offers you a ride to see the trainer and you gladly accept. Upon arriving at the gates of the Grand Palace you are escorted to the royal training center where the trainer awaits. A few other people are there as well, sparring with each other in the background. The trainer, older, but strong looking, walks up and welcomes you, then suggests to get started. "Well, young warrior, we have much to do. In order for you to survive out in the world as a fighter you must learn just how to do it. That is what I am going to help you with today. You will learn just about everything there is to know on how to fight. You will go through 9 lessons during this session, of which some will be together. Now, let's waste no time. The first subject will be attacking and magic usage. Everybody should know how to do these, yes, but it is good to review even the basics. Your basic attack is nothing more than trying to hit your opponent. You describe what you are doing and what the attack will do, but not so that you control if he gets hit. Magic is the same way. You use a spell and say what it does. I will not go further into this because you should already know this. So, what I want for you to do is to attack me physically, and then if you use magic, cast a spell at me. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-12-05 09:06 AM) |

As the ice began to form around the Supreme Trainer he stood still with no sign of fear. A faint glow quickly emitted from his body and his body continued to stay warm.
"Good work," he said. " Now then, we shall move on to the next lesson, a simple, but very strong skill that is uniqe to this realm. It's called a 'Smash Hit'. A Smash Hit is a very strong physical blow to your opponent. All you need to do is focus your strength to your weapon and strike. The blow will send your target flying back with a great amount of damage inflicted, and even has the possibility of sending the opponent out of the area. The Smash Hit, although powerful, is controlled by a "randomizor" It is something that exists in another realm. This means that on a scale of 1 to 100% accuracy, the higher the accuracy is the more power and damage it will produce. In order for a Smash Hit to connect, it must have an accuracy of 25% or greater. Any less than that and you will miss. However, should you achieve a hit with 95% or higher then your opponent will most likely be knocked out of the area, imitating and "instant kill". One special thing to note is that with good aim and strategy, you can can knock a foe into other enemies and cause indirect damage. Do this with 95% or greater accuracy and may also knock those opponts out of the area as well. A versatile attack the Smash Hit is. All you have to do is perfrom the attack and wait to see what happens. Now that you know how to do a Smash Hit, I want you to do it to me. If you miss then you will do it over again." The Supreme Trainer stands ready to receive a blow. He is confident that you will successfully hit him on your first try (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-12-05 09:29 AM) |

As the spell is cast upon the Supreme Trainer, he suddenly becomes transparent, as if is whole body was not present. The death energy was ineffective, he had become less of a target.
"And interesting spell I must say. As you've noticed, I was not affected. There is a reason for this, but I will reveal that to you later. For now, just know that any future attack made against me will not cause much harm. Now then, we shall move on to the next lesson, a simple, but very strong skill that is uniqe to this realm. It's called a 'Smash Hit'. A Smash Hit is a very strong physical blow to your opponent. All you need to do is focus your strength to your weapon and strike. Do this with 95% or greater accuracy and may also knock those opponts out of the area as well. A versatile attack the Smash Hit is. All you have to do is perform the attack and let the randomizor decide the fate of it. Now that you know how to do a Smash Hit, I want you to do it to me. If you miss then you will do it over again." Your attack strikes the Supreme Trainer with 31% accuracy. The Supreme Trainer gets knocked off his feet and onto the ground. The attack was too weak to knock him back. He stands back up and comments on the blow.
"You see, that's how it works. You must have had a very low accuracy with your attack. I was only hit to the ground. But that's the way it works. You could've just as easily had a high percentage and thrown me all the way to wall on the far side of this courtyard. Either way, the "Randomizer" controls how you hit. So, do you understand how the Smash Hit works? If not then say so, otherwise we shall continue on. In this lesson, You will learn about strategy and being fair." The Supreme Trainer paces for a moment while beginning his explanation or the teaching. "You may already have good strategy to your attacks, but nonetheless, it never hurts to review them. If you don't, then this will help you think and use them more during your future battles. Most people, when they fight, use the overly common hack-and-slash method and take turns trading blow. Essentially, this is the core of fighting. But, there is an old workplace saying that can be applied to battles- 'Work smarter, not harder'. This means think of something smart to do so you don't have to strain yourself or risk your life as much just to defeat an enemy. To do this you can use strategy. For instance, if there are many foes standing before you, but they are in a straight line behind each other, what are you going to do? You could take them on all at once or one by one, OR, if you are able to fire a piercing projectile you could take them all out in one fell swoop. Look for opportunities to make things easier for you. They WILL present themselves in just about every battle. You simply have to make notice of them. The same applies to avoiding an attack. What do you have in your arsental of attacks or spells that you could use to avoid becoming injured? Remember, an attack spell doesn't have to be used for an attack, but can be used for escape. Now, I am going to give you two scenarios. One is for attacking, while the other is for dodging. For the first scenario, you are in an ice cave. You stand on one ledge above a chasm with an emeny stands on one on the other side. Your attacks are unable to reach, and you're not able to use magic. However, on the ceiling above, a large, very hard, yet light-weight icicle has become loose and is dropping to a position right infront of you. What can you do with it? For the other scenario, several arrows are flying your way after being shot. You are in an open field, but running would take too long, and creating a barrier would prove to be ineffective. What can you do to avoid the arrows? If you can not do anything within your power, do not be afraid to get hit. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-12-05 10:36 AM) |

[Don't worry about rules violations here. The Supreme Trainer will take any attack. Just don't be cheap about them.]
After recieving blows to several places the Supreme Trainer Falls to his knees as if weakened. Something heals him almost right away, and he is fully recovered. "Good. A strange attack you have indeed. Well, you know how to attack pretty good. Next I'll will tell you about spell charging. In this realm, the casting of high level magic spells requires you to gather enough energy for it. A level one or two spell does not need a great amount, therefore you are able to use them instantly. Anything beyond a level two spell has to be "charged". The amount of time needed is called a "post". One post of charging is needed for a level three spell. Two posts are needed for level 4, and the amount of posts required keeps raising by one for each level you want to use. Be careful about when you want use a high level spell, for you cannot attack or defend while doing so, making yourself vulnerable. However, setting up a defense beforehand is a strategy you can use. Now, I want you to use a post charge a spell and then cast it on me during the next one. If you do not use magic, then you can simply use one of your skills. If you have no high level skill then we will proceed with the next lesson. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-12-05 11:56 AM) |

"Okay, well done," say the Supreme Trainer. "Now you can release the attack whenever you are ready. However, you may also continue charging the spell if you wish to see how much power you can invoke. For time restrictions I will have to limit you to the 6th charge." (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 04-12-05 12:05 PM) |
