Isn't there a difference between the terms "Nerd" "Geek" and "Dork"? My "cool" little cousin was trying to teach me, cuz one day I actually professed to turning to the "cool" side because being a "nerd" was too expensive, and she started correcting me...and then I realized I didn't understand "popular" talk, so I tuned her out.

And thank you for the clarification, Rogue. Not sure if it was off topic or not, but the thread title reminded me of the conundrum. Either way, I'm thinking being "cool" might be cheaper. I've been looking at the money I spend for my fandom, and the money "cool" people are spending and...Well, I can see why I'm always broke and my nieces aren't. :p

22in? Damn. I can't even begin to compete in a "who's is bigger" contest. Mine is only 13 inches... And pending on what I can afford at the time, my new laptop will either still be the same (I need to upgrade, and screen size isn't the reason, sadly) it'll be 17in, max. Mostlikely 15 in though.

You know...I've been very interested in the prospect of broadening my horizons and traveling a bit (Okay, going to conventions...XD) I actually can't afford crap this year, but I am saving, and it actually does seem like a cool idea to go and actually meet some people, if I'm going to be traveling and spending that kind of money anyway.

I'm from Philly, PA, so I'm a bit away, but still...is there a website for the convention? Or may I torture you for some more info, Nataku (welcome back btw! I've been stoked all day since I've seen you here.) about estimated peices, etc. Hotels/actual travel I can just look up myself, especially since prices changes pending on when things are booked...but yeah...

My interest is peaked. <3

I've turned to the DarkSide and am now using a Mac.

Was debating on just roughing it for school...but then I found Final Cut Studio and fell in love....it's editing/sound/special effects software...and only on Mac....so that immediately sold me.

And the standard Mac is 13 in. When I upgrade, I'm upgrading ram and gigs really, for Final Cut AND the Adobe studio. I might just shell out the extra 3 hundred it would cost me in the end for the Mac (I have all sorts of student credit, plus I'll get a discount, so buying a Mac is a little cheaper than usual already, plus the cost to get more ram, I might just spoil myself and get a new one. A bigger screen for my filmmaking would be badass.)

But truthfully...colors....I love 'em too. And Macs are vibrant as all hell. I love that about them, so I cringed a little less when I switched.

The T-shirt design is adorable, but I can't decide if I have a favorite out of the others. I definitely like the creativity behind the OCs. Designing outfits are like my kryptonite.

It does suck that broadcasting the drawings takes time, but when you do it, it's time well worth it. DEFINITELY an interesting way to present your work.

And I know you're comparing your work to your other classmates, but I'm only seeing your's right here, so without the other work to compare to, I still think the shoes are pretty awesome.

Anyone got 'em? I sure do. I have a male Chiuhaha named Zach, after the best Power Ranger ever, the original Black Ranger, and the friends I am living with have a female dog named Bella. Unfortunately, she was already used to Bella by the time we got her, so to make us feel a little better about pop-culture references (because Twilight is NOT as awesome as the Power Rangers) her name was elongated to "Bellatrix." Corny, we know, but better than Twilight (I read all the books, so I'm allowed to bitch about it, I just hate it when people bitch about something because it's "cool" to do so.)

I have pics, most of them utterly hilarious, that I'd like to share, especially since Bella is actually VERY photogenic, and very patient when it comes to picture-taking. Zach is just...awkward. But he's a boy, he's allowed to be. I'll post some as soon as I get the card reader for my camera back.

How 'bout you guys? Anyone else here animal people? Have awesome pets? Questions? **shrugs** I dunno...

I actually do have a few questions, so anyone who knows anything about dogs, please let me know! Cuz I was always a cat person myself...but Zach was special, so I kept him.

You guys are buttheads. The ONE night I fall asleep before 11:00pm, is the night this place goes nuts.

And yes, while you got me in posts for the day, Phoenix, I still beat Xeo for the day, and he was the only one I talked a little bit of smack to, so...all is well in the world of my ego still. XD

As far as "shredding" goes....yeah yeah yeah...fun and all....and I know activity won't stay as high as the days of actual shredding, but let's not make the activity short-lived this time? And keep up, I dunno...at least some sort of percentage of what the "shred" will generate?

XD Yeah, borderline spam I guess? But Hell, you're excited to post, and I guess calling this spam and not turning it into some sort of discussion would be nitpicky as hell. :p And yes, yes you did surpass me in posts. Congrats.

This weekend? My plans are to relax! I was off yesterday, off today, and I'm off tomorrow. Lately, I've been working 10 hour days, so instead of working about 5 days a week, at 6 hours a piece, I'm working 3. Something about the store needing good numbers, and I'm at my personal best when the shifts are longer for me, and some co-workers do better when they're there for a shorter amount of time in a day. What does this mean? It means that by the time I have my first day off for the week, I'm TIRED! I literally sat home ALL day yesterday, which is rare that I can do that now, but I needed it. XD

Otherwise, I'm soooo going to kick your butt in posts from now on.
