I think that you should take out the period separating the last sentence from the one before it, otherwise it's fragmented and looks weird. Other than that, nice job... I assume just a little thing you whipped up? |

Pool, drawing, weight training, RPing, writing... all things that are good distractors. Reading as well actually. Pick a series you've been wanting to read (the longer the better) and you'd be surprised how you get distracted. I'd recommend a few good series, but I am not sure how into D&D novels you are (War of the Spider Queen is both long and good, and Year of Rogue Dragons is awesome if only a trilogy). Creating things is a good outlet as well, so things I mentioned above like writing and drawing work wonders... you can even go farther and create campaign worlds or webcomics or flash movies... learning to do something like the last two is time consuming but ultimately can cheer you up by feeling accomplished and really take your mind off things.

"It's understandable. Xeo actually brought me here after the board that I used to post on, Vizzed, went down. I wasn't too active at first, until after Vizzed came back and just wasn't the same. I checked back in here and was amazed at how it had grown and how much more friendly it was, so I made this my home and never looked back. Anywho, I want to go, but also lack the funds. Venomouslobster actually mentioned it today after seeing a bus advertisement, offering to pay my way in even... but he doesn't really have the funds either. Sucks to be honest.

Well I caught this after the chapter 3 edit, so I don't know what you took out. Other than that I think that it's doing pretty good. Though I notice that you've made the main character very much like yourself... again. Might want to work on that a bit in the future. |
