Elara - i just meant he sounded like a eurotrash (Its origins are primarily German/Austrian) kinda guy.
Sajin of the Gorotto Sea - i think they were refering to the fact that he served it for dinner. not how he killed it.

i wasnt talking about that. it's already adjusted. i'm talking about the timestamp for the edits i make. my first sentence already explained that the real timestamp is correct =/

i wonder if anyone else notices if theirs does it too or is it just me?

it's exactly something that i wanna do. i don't think everyone on the board realizes that there's a 6 hour time difference for the edit stamp, so it might cause problems for the future with an argument or w/e

yeah seriously, the guy who plays chef is an ass. isn't one of the rules as a Scientologist is that you're supposed avoid ppl/ leave ppl who make fun of the religion?

but yeah... i hate people who are all, "oh, they're evil for making fun of religion" but the fact is that he isn't standing up for all religions, he's only using it as a front because they made fun of his -.-'

uh.... hmm....

waaa? wait a min, bootleg isn't just something that's recorded without the consent of the artist, but also distributed/sold without consent. if bob is putting'em out, then it's not bootleg? but then again, it could've started out as bootleg, but then he bought the rights for it or something O.o;

anyways, i think you're talking about "live-concerts" and things like that.

i think a lot of "bands" do put those out. they're called live-concert Cds =/

speaking of which, i'm making bleach DVD formated bootlegs, with full menu options, skipping forward, and everything manually done, not effortless themes. subs from Lunar.

it takes me about 24 real hours (about a week if i'm really working) to make a disc. each disc has about 18 episodes. i'm in the processing of doing vol. 4, which ends at either ep 66 or 68, depending on how much i can fit. i'm selling'em to friends for $5 a disc.

but back on the subject... if you can find something of almost equal quality, but much much cheaper, why not? it's not as if the fat cats are actually gonna go bankrupt or anything like that. i mean seriously, $20 for a yuu yuu hakusho disc, with only 4 eps? wtf's up with that? there's like 112 eps, divided by 4, multiplied by 20 = $560+$42.60 tax or... about $100 for the bootleg which is massproduced + $8.25 tax, or even $35 from a guy like me plus $0 tax? $602.60<$35....

er... if you're talking about irl, just go to any "asian" movie place. all they've got is bootlegs. if you're talking about online or whatnot, go to any "asian" online store. but yeah, amazon is a great place too, as you've already mentioned yourself.

but on another note, WTFFFFFF bleach is licensed... and Lunar stopped subbing it!!! this totally effects my bootlegs! i cant use DB's version! Lunar's version is more sharp, which looks professional on the TV. DB will make me look like an ass -.-'

well, that's supposed to be the S-4's job i think... but i'm gonna assume that your batallion is too small to have S's. from memory, i think it's...
S-1 does all the major paperwork, and files'em away or w/e.
S-2 or 4 Takes care of the armory, making sure all the equipment is up to standards.
S-3 in charged of the class schedules, and company Commanders (CO).
S-4 or 2 in charged of permission slips, trips, and whatnot, moral officer i guess.
S-5 in charged of the uniforms, and company Executive officers (XO)
S-6 computer stuff.
at least, that's how my school was... woo, i remember our "monthly" newspapers for JROTC.... lol

or maybe he had to because of the rules like...

yeah, i mentioned it in one of the other threads a couple weeks ago, when i was complaining how because it was subbed, some fansubbers quit subbing, which destroyed my bootlegging business... well not really lol.

anyways, i dont really consider anything as being butchered or anything, because it's always the first impression that counts. like if you saw something in japanese first, then in english, of course you wont be used to the english one, therefore you'll say it's being butchered (aside from scenes and dialogue being changed). vice-versa, if you see it in english first, then japanese, you'd be like, those japanese voices are annoying and stupid.

well, think of it this way... i think it's fair that they are paying them at a lower wage.
1. they have no SSN, therefore, cannot find a job anyways, so they are thankful that they even have a job, even if it's lower pay.
2. the owner needs to also pay taxes, he cannot file for a break if he cannot legally say that the illegal is working for him, therefore, he has to pay him less.
3. there are other states that has a minimum wage of $5, it's just a shame that cali and texas are at the boarder.

as for the electric fence, i'd like someone from this board to actually walk the entire boarder and see how long it actually is. additionally, how does one power such a large fence, i doubt there's running electricity out in the boonies. (solar/wind power would be great, but i dont think it's going to be strong enough) additionally, there's the bad weather. you'll constantly have to monitor it. then there's the animals, birds resting on it, getting fried, and other animals who knows. and again with the animals, you'll be blocking their territory. they wont be able to go back and forth, therefore creating bad genetics due to intense inbreeding.

we need to reform how we secure the boarder, not to do something radical. i really don't see a real solution for this, unless annexing mexico is something that's too radical. perhaps sometime in 100yrs or something.

that's right... CN is currently showing Saved by the Bell. it's rumored to only be a pilot of two weeks. if successful, they will continue to show more non-animated shows.

with the tivo, i seriously cannot watch live tv anymore. once i've got forward, i cant go back. two minute tv commercials are too long. i find myself recording the show, instead of watching it, eventhough i could actually watch it there and be done with it. instead, i just channel surf, and watch my show later, just so i can have the opportunity to fast forward thru the commercials. or worst, i'd just be 10min late on purpose, and watch the recording, as the show is on live, so i'd have an extra leg room for the commercial.
