I know that it sucks, but seriously you really are just going to have to put up with it until you are 18. You can try talking to your parents about your beliefs, but expect nothing but arguing to ensue... my mom condemned me to hell and all that shit when she found out I was Wiccan and that was only a few months ago.

The trick in talking to them is to truly know what you are talking about before you begin. I studied many different religions in school and such, and my mom freely admits that I know more about world religions that she does so she does listen to me when I talk (she just doesn't accept a lot of it). Don't be insulting, do not yell or swear at them, be respectful and keep your tone even and you should come out of it alright. If they still make you go do not look at it as having the religion forced on you, see it as studying a different culture and as a way to show respect to your parents and their beliefs... because if you cannot respect their beliefs how can you expect them to ever respect yours? As for the religous/science debate going on, please keep that in the debate forum and not in Sunset. Thank you.

("I summon holding vines to trap my foe!") *The ground rumbled as massive vines burst from the ground and surrounding area, thorns dripping with a poisoned sap, and rushed to ensnare the Alhoon* Entangle- Due to her Elven heritage, Jade can summon strong vines to burst from the ground and entangle her opponent, keeping them from moving at all. If she so chooses the vines can be covered in poisoned thorns that make the entangled foe weaker and also allow the vines to whip out and strike at the opponent. Cannot be used if the arena is indoors unless there are plants nearby.

I think that it might be best to leave those off until a later time... like 10 years from now or something. Imagine how much more you will have to write about then. And besides, this leaves more time for finishing the Paradox Island series. |

"My family life? Let's see... parents are cheap urban rednecks, and my mom turns 67 this coming Friday so I have that to deal with as well. I have four siblings, two brothers and two sisters... though I've never met my oldest sister, she was given up for adoption when she was born. My sister Cindy is the second youngest and she was 15 when I was born. I have, counting the sister-I've-never-met's kids, 4 nephews and 4 nieces. The oldest nephews both just graduated high school and all but one of my nieces are the exact same age. I know a good deal of my extended family. On my mom's side I have an aunt that lives in Missouri (her home town) with her twin sons and their kids... which are around my age and two have already had kids of their own though I am older than all of them. I also have an uncle that lives in San Francisco, who has an estranged daughter somewhere around there. As for my dad's side... I have two aunts, both are dumb. The younger one has two kids that I get along with, the other one has three kids that are so-so. And out of the five cousins from there I have 5 third cousins. I've met one 4th cousins and so many 3rd cousins and great uncles/ aunts, ect that it makes my head spin. My great grandmother lives in a nursing home out near Palmdale where my grandfather and aunts live, my great grandfather recently passed away but he lived in San Pedro." *Elara pauses so that her rambling would not put everyone to sleep* "As for meeting up... my uncle comes down to visit every so often. We go to Missouri every five years for my mom's high school reunion so that is when I normally can see my aunt and everyone out there (unless they get the money to come out here, which is rare). My dad's side of the family we mainly see at funerals or weddings, more the former though. Aunts, grandparents and cousins (the more immediate family on my dad's side) we also see at Christmas and camping trips that I try like hell to get out of. My siblings we generally see around holidays, some birthdays, graduations, and other rare occations. We aren't really a close family... rather disfunctional to be honest, and once I can get out on my own it will be a rare thing for them to ever see me again."

Oni, again, a bump. As for your comment to my statement: No, I do not know what cordite smells like, however I am a 21 year old girl that lives in southern California. The people reporting smelling cordite are older people who work in the Pentagon. You cannot disprove their testimony just because I do not know what it smells like. Technically this thread should be closed because of the bumping, but since I replied I will leave it open.

People that get onto your computer through Safe Mode then hand it off to someone else to check their email, all without your permission... this is made worse when the hard drive crashes right afterward. Hewllit Packard and their shitty laptops. Parents that refuse to buy you a newer car when yours dies, and insist on fixing it yet bitching about having to fix it all the damn time. People that have AC, have the money to run it for at least a few hours, but don't... even after paying to have the damn thing fixed. This is another attack on my parents by the way. People that say I game too much. Twice a week is NOT too much! Teenagers for taking all the part-time summer jobs. I refuse to sell my soul to the mouse, damn you!

Those ads could have been shown in Britain and I am sure no one would have cared, and you know why? Because black people over there are not always harping on race issues like they are here! The rest of the world resolved thier issues and moved on while we are still in the back bickering with each other over skin color! Personally, I think the ad looks cool. It personafies the product because let's be honest, if two PSPs were having an intimidation contest it would not look as cool.
