| Zoso and I went to a costume party last Saturday. I didn't go as anything special, just wore one of my Labyrinth masquerade costumes from earlier this year.
Zoso went as Wolverine. 
Wolvie's bummed about the ending of X3.    
I made the claw and did his hair. I swear I'm WAY TOO proud of it. The pictures just don't capture how dead on it looked. There were times when I'd look at him and I'd think, "Dude, it's totally Wolverine." Yeah, I know I'm lame, but it looked GREAT. (Last edited by Rogue on 10-30-07 05:53 PM) |

| I think I've been watching too much Bollywood. These just weren't "crazy" to me. Bollywood (Indian) films are just this way--big, elaborately-choreographed dance sequences and no kissing allowed.
Among the rules of Bollywood, a celebrity must show up at random in a scene, sing a song and then are never seen again in the film. If you want to get into Bollywood, try out Bride and Prejudice--it was made with the intention of appealing to the Western ear and is even patterned after the English novel "Pride and Prejudice." Balle Balle: The movie also features Aishwarya Rai who is often referred to as "the most beautiful woman on earth." She's the one wearing the orange shawl with the pink outfit near the front, she comes up behind the girl wearing all pink in some shots. Like Ziyi Zhang who's featured in MANY Asian films, Rai is in practically every major Bollywood film that's come out in recent years. But yeah, that first one you posted was a bit on the silly side. |

So if anyone's following this current season, what do you think of it? Some media outlets have been conducting surveys, and many have answered that they're losing interest in the show saying it's gone stale. I personally am still pretty deep into it, especially after the last episode which seems to have launched all sorts of crazy twists and possibilities. I think some people might be finding it hard to follow since there are so MANY storylines going at once. - Peter in Ireland, who's now in Canada, and with Veronica Mars hot on his trail. - Bennet, who's on his own personal mission in Ukraine right now with the Haitian. - Claire and her new deliciously-stalker-esque boyfriend, West. - Sylar with the "wonder" twins, Maya and Alejandro, trying to get to Mohinder. - Hiro in Feudal Japan, now in a conflict with his childhood hero Kensei. - Mohinder watching over Molly, his cute, little Cerebro. Now with Niki/Jessica at his side. - Matt and Nathan trying to figure out who's killing the original heroes. - Micah and his muscle-memory cousin Monica, living with Uhura. - And we all need to find out who Adam Munroe is! It just keeps going. Anyway, yeah, who's watching? Well I wouldn't go so far as to say that things like this make people "hate" Christians. It was an individual's choice and he should be the one people shake their fingers at when it comes to judging the appropriateness of Halloween costumes and not the whole religion entirely.

Really, I don't understand the strange double standards some people place on Halloween. It's a pagan holiday to begin which was adopted by many other cultures much like many of the traditions of Easter and Christmas. (Last edited by Rogue on 11-02-07 05:35 PM)

It's like how people who are about to get married get cold feet. They know they love the other person, but like joining the military it's a big step and an even bigger commitment. If joining the military is what you really want, you'll be fine. Look at True/Lil Miss MRE. She joined the army and from what it sounds like she's very content with her decision.

Last night, Zoso's band had a show in Winchester (2-hour long drive there, 2-hour long drive back). I fell asleep going both ways even though I usually don't sleep on band drives. Got home late, woke up around when I normally do and got breakfast with my parents. Aside from the fact that Zoso and I were awake before we were called to head to the restaurant, nothing was really any different. Did go to a festival that was ending early because most of the people there forgot to turn their clocks back though. (Last edited by Rogue on 11-04-07 10:21 PM)

I checked http://home.disney.go.com/shopping/ and it seems like anything Stitch is out-dated on their site, like it always refers you to the outlet section, and neither Lilo nor Stitch are listed as characters on the site. |
Still haven't found any good leads to a big Stitch. I checked Bizrate, Shop.com (which was odd because searching for "Stitch plush" brings up nothing but baseball memorabilia), Toys 'R' Us, and all of these random giant plush toy websites that came up in the Google sponsored links.

All I can really tell you is that you're at that point in life where it's all about self-discovery and trying to figure out what you want to do with your life and you know what? You're never going to be very sure and it's all going to be suspenseful and scary and you're just going to want to sit around and wait for something to pan out for you on its own while you think and worry about the future and then suddenly the answer's clear: you're depressed.

Right? This can all be solved taking a few pills. Right? Right? NO!!! What you're going through is so ungodly normal for your age, I'd be worried if you were all happy-go-lucky as though you never had a problem and just sailed through life without a care. Life isn't like that. It's hard and at times it seems pointless. BUT that's what makes the great moments shine even brighter. Chemical dependency is NOT the answer. It's better to take life's lumps and feel them along with the bliss and ecstasy. It lets you know you're alive and you are, Xeo, by gum you are! I've watched too many young people take up medications and illicit drugs thinking it'll solve their problems, free their minds and so on and it either has killed their creativity and energy making them drones to society or it makes them act completely unnatural. I'm not sure what to say to tie all this together, but if you're feeling depressed believe you me I've been there. Up until now my life had been at a halt and I hadn't felt at all productive. I've spent the last couple years in this mental state of "blah." We ALL go through it. As a young person life's this big "thing," there are no words for it really. Obstacle? Labyrinth? You spend much of it lost and when you near the end, you suddenly realize you wasted so much time worrying and bumming yourself out that you get aggravated that you didn't just enjoy the ride. Suddenly you understand why the old make fun of youth, how it's wasted on the young and so on. I'm still learning and obviously your mother has lived longer than I have. She's seen what the world is like. I only ask that you not turn your back on the truth of life. While taking meds for depression might not seem like such a drastic step, it's the rose-colored glasses that only disguise the hidden beauties that can only be found among the turmoil and muck.
