Pretty funny thing. A clever one, too. Who knew it was so easy to calculate where you go by what you do?

They said that "THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2005) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS." BS years ago when the joke came out. But I know, the number used are for this year only. Not a bad complex arithmatic thing.

Your foot strikes the supreme trainer in the chest with 55% strength, knocking him back some distance and onto the ground. After a moment he gets up and walks back to where he once stood.
"Very nice," he says. "It seems you had pretty decent strength with that hit, for I was sent back quite far. So, do you understand how the Smash Hit works now? You simply do the attack, and the randomizer will determine the outcome. You also could've just as easily had a high percentage and thrown me all the way to wall on the far side of this courtyard. Either way, the "Randomizer" controls how you hit. In this next lesson, You will learn about strategy and being fair." The Supreme Trainer paces for a moment while beginning his explanation or the teaching. "You may already have good strategy to your attacks, but nonetheless, it never hurts to review them. If you don't, then this will help you think and use them more during your future battles. Most people, when they fight, use the overly common hack-and-slash method and take turns trading blow. Essentially, this is the core of fighting. But, there is an old workplace saying that can be applied to battles- 'Work smarter, not harder'. This means think of something smart to do so you don't have to strain yourself or risk your life as much just to defeat an enemy. To do this you can use strategy. For instance, if there are many foes standing before you, but they are in a straight line behind each other, what are you going to do? You could take them on all at once or one by one, OR, if you are able to fire a piercing projectile you could take them all out in one fell swoop. Look for opportunities to make things easier for you. They WILL present themselves in just about every battle. You simply have to make notice of them. The same applies to avoiding an attack. What do you have in your arsental of attacks or spells that you could use to avoid becoming injured? Remember, an attack spell doesn't have to be used for an attack, but can be used for escape. Now, I am going to give you two scenarios. One is for attacking, while the other is for dodging. For the first scenario, you are in an ice cave. You stand on one ledge above a chasm with an emeny stands on one on the other side. Your attacks are unable to reach, and you're not able to use magic. However, on the ceiling above, a large, very hard, yet light-weight icicle has become loose and is dropping to a position right infront of you. What can you do with it? For the other scenario, several arrows are flying your way after being shot. You are in an open field, but running would take too long, and creating a barrier would prove to be ineffective. What can you do to avoid the arrows? If you can not do anything within your power, do not be afraid to get hit. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 05-06-05 03:02 PM) |

The knife, although unable to penetrate the Supreme Trainer's armour, struck and knocked up into the air with 61% strenght. He lands hard and stays on the ground motionless for a moment before getting up, wiping dirt off and walking back to where he previously was.

Not too long after you set out on your journey you finally reach your destination: The great and beautiful kingdom in which the grand and famous Supreme Trainer resides- Avalus, a medieval kingdom with futuristic assets. You walk through the people-filled streets and admire the liveliness of the place. Odd-shaped hover-carriages glide just a couple above the ground and pass you with a constant, noisy hum. Someone offers you a ride to see the trainer and you gladly accept. Upon arriving at the gates of the Grand Palace you are escorted to the royal training center where the trainer awaits. A few other people are there as well, sparring with each other in the background. The trainer, older, but strong looking, walks up and welcomes you, then suggests to get started. "Well, young warrior, we have much to do. In order for you to survive out in the world as a fighter you must learn just how to do it. That is what I am going to help you with today. You will learn just about everything there is to know on how to fight. You will go through 9 lessons during this session, of which some will be together. Now, let's waste no time. The first subject will be attacking and magic usage. Everybody should know how to do these, yes, but it is good to review even the basics. Your basic attack is nothing more than trying to hit your opponent. You describe what you are doing and what the attack will do, but not so that you control if he gets hit. Magic is the same way. You use a spell and say what it does. I will not go further into this because you should already know this. So, what I want for you to do is to attack me physically, and then if you use magic, cast a spell at me. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 05-06-05 03:15 PM) |

You've finished your training with the Supreme Trainer and walk away very confident in your skills. So confident, in fact, that while strutting and admiring your achievement with your eyes closed you fail to notice an armored palace guard coming around a corner and bump into him. You open your eyes to see a disgruntled soldier who looks a bit moody. "Hey! Whaddaya think you're doing?!" he yells as he draws out his partisan. "Watch where you're going, you fool! I should smite you right here and now for such an atrocity!" You think he's going just a bit overboard on the psycho-ship for such a small incident. Do you take him up for his challenge or not? Aw heck, of course you do! Avalus Sentry HP- 120 Jaques HP- 130 |

And thus begins the life of my comments with it being filled only by me. At least that's how it seems to be. Anyone care to put one in mine?

I can agree with Kaijin of some aspects of hating FFX-2, but the thing I hate the most was the side stories. I didn't like at all how you had to complete ever major side quests with the story to get the best ending. What was that about? I was going for it too until I found out that I had to complete the dumb chocobo thing and finish the marketing quest. I didn't get too far in the chocobo one before I said "screw it." And the Thunder Plains button puching game? I got past every challenge except for the last one where the buttons appeared in random places. Man oh man I spent quite the number of hours last year in my hotel room while at Ft. McCoy trying to beat it. I came close a few times, but every try ended in failure. Why make it that hard. Is the best ending so good that some of the quest had to be so difficult? Kinda ridiculuos if you asked me. I did like a few things in the games. The music was good, especially the remake of Bevelle. I've forgotten her name, but the woman with the two numbskulls attacking Yuna and her group look pretty good. Maybe it was the revealing outfit. Maechen has always been an awesome guy with his tales and stories.
I did notice one thing about Yuna- is it me or did she have a bigger rack in 10? I got the game to "keep the tradition" as it was said. I'm Final Fantasy fan. Did anyone happen to get the best ending by the way? |

Unfortunately for Bambi, a bird perched on a branch above him chirped, giving away his position. (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 05-07-05 05:29 PM) |

I see it as just regular numbers. 12 posts per thread seems about right for this board. I don't quite see anything special with it.

[Just so you know, each enemy will have a certain elemental weakness unless otherwise indicated]
You fireball strikes the gaurd and the force sends him to the floor. He suffers 20 Dmg but seems to be able to still fight fairl well. He lunges forward at you with his partisan and goes for a stab. Avalus Sentry HP- 100 Jaques HP- 130 (Last edited by Cyro Xero on 05-08-05 05:47 PM) |

Here one with me at a rave. My hair is pretty flat, so just take out the spikes in this picture, add muscle and you've got a good image of me. |

Have you ever thought about writing something science fiction? You could pretty much writing anything you want since there is no limit as to what might be real.

Weel, damn. It's about time you found out about this forum. How did you find it? Those of us in here have been going to this forum for about a month or two, so it hasn't been up for too long. Just don't say anything to anybody about it. This is supposed to be a secret.

Well Cairoi, this is what we call a hidden forum. Though you found it, don't tell anyone about it. People are supposed to find out for them selves. You are just one of the lucky ones. Only a select few, yourself included, know about this place. So just have fun posting and looking at the hot girl pics we sometimes post up. There's a thread in the forum somewhere with pornstars (clothed of course). Go check it out. |
