I always thought it was weird how different King Koopa was. It was almost as if he and Bowser were two entirely different characters, when really they weren't.
Really I thought it was a great show. It was one of my videogame-show favorites next with Megaman and Sonic SatAM (the anime one with a serious storyline). |

I still don't like the X, and the text personally. I don't know, just the font size is a little too big for me or something.

Hmm, it sounded good from reviews. =
The songs you sent me were from the live album, right? Guess I should have went with my original plan, and ordered Follow the Reaper instead. And I guess it was maybe the angle of the picture that I saw with him that made the guitar look like a Flying V. (Last edited by X on 05-12-06 06:11 PM) |

This was worth mentioning because she's amazing. I saw a bunch of Booth Babes on their E3 coverage at a friends, nothing amazing except their favorite pick of the latex lady.
Bianca Beauchamp: (click for large image) Few more pictures. And NSFW!!! her main site: http://www.latexlair.com/ Yeah, I looked her up. Really weird, but I guess if you really enjoy latex ... she's an interesting model. Discuss. |

Originally posted by DSM And it can basically be a replacement for the GC. Being able to play GC games, use the memory cards, use the controller slots, and whatnot. And the idea of being able to download NES, SNES, arcade, Genesis, N64, etc, games is amazing. Really this game truly does look impressive. But I'm still debating on what version I want. I still believe some use of the Wii controller could be a little tedious at times, so I think I should possibly get the GC version of TP instead, but I'm not sure. Either way, I think this game will really live up to its hype. |

I hated Raiden. But, I can simply say with this game, he has redeemed himself (already with the trailers). The idea of him being the new Cyborg Ninja is awesome. (random note, his Japanese voice is great compared to the American one).
So yeah, my friends and I are so hyped about this game its not even funny. MGS3 was probably one of the most emotional games I've ever played, and these short trailers captured that emotion easily. A crazy idea I have about Snake ... Spoiler:
He does kill himself. But then Raiden, takes an arm of his, or something and ... just like Liquid and Ocelot they become one. Yeah, thats a funny idea, and extremely far fetched ... but its something, right? =P And if it hasn't been stated already, just like MGS3 all those scenes in these trailers were realtime, THAT was what the game is going to look like. MGS4 in my opinion, has already become -the game- to buy a PS3 for. |

Its been stated this game will just use a regular GC controller, and I'm thankful for that.
But man, this game looks so amazing ... the music, and everything. SNAKE! I just hope this time around they don't have pointless clone characters. Like Ganon was to Captain Falcon, Marth was to Roy, Dr. Mario was to Mario, Falco was to Fox. Yeah, there were differences ... but not a whole lot to completely define a totally different character. So this time I just hope there's more variaty among the characters, more moves, and stuff. I really hope they're not done announcing new characters. Seriously if they put Sonic in this game, it would be Legendary just for the fact that you could have a real "Mario vs Sonic" match that many of us would have loved to see years ago, during the age of the Nintendo and Sega wars. Either way, its Smash Bros. And with new characters like MetaKnight, and Snake, I'm pumped. |

I just basically saw it as a hype booster.
"Hey, we're making Halo 3 guys." Nothing more. Trust me, I'll argue that the original Halo is one of the best FPS's out there, but this is the Next Gen, where almost every game is looking good. Bungie will have some heavy competition this time. (Last edited by X on 05-13-06 10:29 PM) |

Heh, I got it and see what you mean.
I do have one problem though, the double bass drumming. The -sound- of it sometimes is really ... weird. Its not as bad as Iron Savior's messed up sound in their Dark Assualt album (it was so bad and messed up it ruined the entire album for me, being Power Metal they obviously use double bass drums a lot, and it was just horrible). But yeah, I listened to the first 6 tracks and I can officialy say I'm a CoB fan now. I'd have to say I enjoy the vocals in Ensiferum more (same style, semi-growling), but CoB is awesome in the guitars area. Weird though because I like the live version of Towards Dead End more than the album version, which is unusual for me. |

Can't believe I never really looked at this thread until now.
A funny request from me: Kai Hansen Fan! (if you couldn't guess) I'll probably have more ideas, just need to think about them ... (Last edited by X on 05-13-06 11:26 PM) |

I take back what I said about Manowar's Kings of Metal.
I think I was just comparing it to Triumph of Steel way too much, hoping for powerful double bass drumming, and faster music. But after I kept wanting to listen to Kings of Metal over and over again I realized I was hooked, and my opinion changed. Really Manowar is like ... groovy metal. So many people throw out that lame "they're cheesy so they suck" arguement, it gets so old. But yeah, most of the songs in Kings of Metal are upbeat, heroic, powerful, and have an uplifting feeling to them. And again, Eric Adams in my opinion is easily up there with the ranks of Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden, etc), and other powerful metal vocalists. His voice shatters glass. |

Spoiler: What I wonder, is who Meryl was talking to. At a few glances, it honestly looked like Ocelot or something to me. And how could she still be alive? But, I really doupt thats it. I'm sure she's talking to someone on Snakes side, because it would be a good move for the plot for the allies ... to become the next Foxhound. For your country? Or for your beliefs? Amazing. |

Ah yes, the sharp and wise Katana who will cut through you like butter. ... well, you're 18. Welcome to the adult life, even though you probably won't even notice a huge change. Edit: That is one bad picture of a Katana. (Last edited by X on 05-14-06 12:22 AM) |

Short and simple, I believe a lot of it is to give people ... faith. Maybe blind faith, maybe true. And maybe I'm not someone with the biggest amount of faith. But, people do seek wisdom, and faith and religion's seem to focus on these areas. It just probably makes a lot of people out there feel better about themselves, and secure.

Hah, those are exactly the other albums I saw. Yeah, there were like 10 Hatecrew, and a few Are You Dead Yet.
Then that one Follow the Reaper hiding in the back. |

I don't know, not looking for anything too particular. This is a very cool picture too, just in black and white. |

Originally posted by Gamma Ray That's pretty much what happened when I bought Rising Force and The Best of. I said "omfg" *xeo goes out and buys 3 other albums of his the next day* TP: So far the only Japanese band I've heard is 403. But I think I have heard talk about X Japan. I'll definitely have to check them out, Japan seems pretty obsessed with the kind of metal I love. DarkSlaya: So, if you haven't already get: Rising Force, Marching Out, Trilogy, and Odyssey. I'd say which one is my favorite ... but that's seriously impossible. Odyssey is a little faster, and sounds almost like a Power Metal album. Rising Force is 80% instrumental only, but still amazing. Those are the albums I own of Malmsteen so far (including the Best Of, featuring all of those albums), and I plan to get more of his stuff. (Last edited by X on 05-17-06 12:46 AM) |
