I met my girlfriend online. I like how it's more to the point. Everyone knows why you're there. When you meet someone in real life you sort of have to beat around the bush more. Maybe that's just me, though.

They're building one up in Rohnert Park, which is a very upper-middle class area, and people are pissed. They worry it's going to bring crime, as well as just tons and tons of traffic and people to the area. And they're probably right.

That's not really the reason death row tends to be more expensive. It's because, when someone's life is on the line, they really, really want to make sure they're guilty, so they go through appeal after appeal, constantly going back to court and being reinvestigated, just to make sure.

I do have to agree with Vulkar. He wasn't proclaimed guilty, so it's absurd for people to act like he's a guilty man asking to be paid back. It's not like he's Bob Filner, trying to get the government to pay for his legal defense.

Although, on a note, he was proclaimed not guilty, he was not proclaimed innocent. There is a huge difference.

No, just the concept that there are laws for war seems so absurd. Because when you make one type of murder illegal, it's saying that all others are fine.

It just always conjures an image in my head of two countries having a brutal war, when one suddenly calls time-out and says, "Dude, you can't do that, it's against the rules." It's just bizarre to imagine.
