| Kara looked up at Ryan, dumbfounded. She was thrilled to find yet another survivor. Her heart still racing from the previous scare, she managed to tuck her handgun away, and with a shaky hand, took up on Ryan's offer. "Kara." She replies, shaking his hand. She tilts her head back in Jason's direction. "Other than the three of us now...I haven't came across any other survivors." As fast as her heart was racing and her hand quivering, Kara's voice was just the opposite. Despite their current situation, her voice had managed to escape her lips calm and smooth.
"How about you? Any luck?" |

Kara looked up at both men and nodded. She brought her right hand to her left arm and placed it gingerly over her cut. She could feel no moisture and assumed that the blood was dry once again.

"The name's Kara." She said, repeating her name for a second time, this time directing it toward Jason incase he hadn't heard the first time. "Ready when you guys are." she says in response to the plan.

**looks at Vulkar** Though I'm sure not everyone wants to see fireworks...  They never really interested me much anyways...though it is funny watching my brother-in-laws act like assmonkeys trying to set off fireworks. None of them ever listen to me when i tell them how to do it...so I just gotta hope that they don't hurt themselves.

Omg...I think I found that to be a bit funnier than the average person would...I couldn't stop laughing...even my cats were looking at me funny....(That and the comic made me think of lots of other things about the movie that have been spoffed on. XD)

In one clean shot, a zombie that was crawling up the side of George's car crumpled to the ground. Kara, standing at the church entryway, held her handgun steadily, aiming for the fallen zombie incase she had missed its head. Not once taking her eyes off of it, she takes a few slow steps toward George's car. Still a few feet away, she directs her glance toward George. She looked up at him intently, scanning what she could see of him with her eyes. Kara then glanced back in the Church to see where Jason and Ryan were.

"Get inside...quick!" Urgency was written all over her voice even though Kara had managed to calm herself enough not to show anything other than through her voice.

BIC: Kara shot Jobes a glare as he pointed his weapon at her upon his arrival. However, once Asuka showed up, she was taken by suprise. "But...I wasn't bitten..." Kara says in a soft voice as Asuka takes her aside and sits her down. She closed her eyes when she felt the sting Asuka had warned her about while she addressed her wound. However, the pain lasted only a moment. She opened her eyes again once Asuka was finished. She looked over and smiled. "Thank you." As more and more people arrived, some hope that she had lost before was slowly returning. There are a lot more survivors than I presumed... she thought to herself as she watched the exchanges going on between everyone. ...Maybe everything really will be alright... She was snapped out of her thoughts as Asuka handed her the bag of medical supplies. She grinned when Asuka made the "woman's touch" comment and nodded as she gave her the watch. "Thanks again" she replies with a smile. For some reason Kara trusted Jason and was relieved to be going with him. She looked back at everyone else before following. "You all be careful, alright?" she pauses as Jobes tosses his walkie talkie to Jason. "We've got two ways to keep in contact...so by all means, we cannot loose contact." Picking up the bag of medical supplies, the only object she was now in posession of other than her handguns, she looks up at Kyle and flashes him a grin. "I won't be needing any assistance, but thanks." was all she said to the boy before following after Jason.

BIC: Kara was in a bit of a shock as Jason pressed her close to him. "Wait. No." She struggled a bit when she felt him reach to his side, knowing it was to get his gun. However she froze, feeling nearly every muscle in her body tense up when Jason pulled the trigger. She held her breath until Jason released her. Before he said that he missed, Kara had already spun around sharply, finally letting out a breath of air...of relief... She smiled when she saw that he hadn't been killed and then turned back to Jason. She opened her mouth, ready to speak, but Jason had already begun to more forward. Before following , Kara turned, her long brown hair moving with her, to look back at Kyle and make sure he was alright.

Kara was about to ask Kyle if he was alright when Jason was suddenly in a rush. Darting over to Kyle, wraping her hand around his wrist, she tugs him in Jason's direction as quickly as she could.

As Rico aims his pistol at them, Kara stops dead in her tracks, almost bumping into Kyle. She shoots Rico a glare, but then shrugs it off. We're not going to survive if no one gets along... she thought to herself, letting out a sigh. She then looks over at Asuka and gives her a smile. She cups her hands around her mouth and shouts. "Us women had better stick together at least!" With that, she took hold of Kyle again. Gently, yet moving fast to catch up with Jason.

Well, like I've said before, I never really slept walked, but I do talk in my sleep...though I've been told that when my sugar is high right before I go to bed, that I do all sorts of crazy things in my sleep. >.< I remember having a nightmare about getting into college and stuff one of those nights, and my sister told me that I went online and started googling random colleges... (Though I semi-remember that, but I thought that was all in the dream...so yeah...dunno if that counts)

I'm trying to think this post through and choose carefully what I decide to say about this issue here...Last night I'm freaking out about people that I know and love in the military...and this happens. Suck factor number one.

Suck factor number two...I have family in London...Haven't heard a thing from them, but that doesn't worry me. I'm pretty sure they're fine. Just the whole thing in general in London...not just family. Suck factor number three...they're fucking civilians!! WTF do they have to fucking do with all this terrorist shit?! omg...Okay...stopping the rant there... No, I don't know much about what happened, and I choose to be ignorant to it. It just aggrivates me too much. I don't believe in fighting needlessly over some things...but I don't believe in letting it happen either...loss of innocent lives just pisses me off royally...Like 9/11...I didn't see that as "Omg, they messed with America...they're going down." Like most people around me did...the loss of fucking innocent lives set me off...[/pissed off ness]

BIC: Kara stopped dead in her tracks, almost slamming into Kyle yet again. "Jason, I don't know what the hell to grab in there!" She exclaims, gesturing toward the guns and ammo shop. Just then, she heard a moan echo from her left. With one swift motion, Kara reaches for her gun and aims it toward the zombie's head. It's grotesque figure was slowly shuffleing it's way toward them. Kara fired off a shot and nailed the monster directly in between the eyes, causing it to fall backward. "Just grab what we need and give me a yell when you're ready." She utters as calmly as possible. At the sound of another moan, the sound of Kara's handgun was heard once again. This time the monster crumpled to the ground and wasn't getting back up. "Here." She tosses Jason her other handgun, keeping her eye on the surrounding zombies. "I'm running out of bullets here so get what I need for these guns while you're there." She shoves Kyle along to follow after Jason. "My accuracy is far greater than my knowledge of whatever is in that store. You'll be in and out of there much more quickly than I would."

Hmmm... Turn-ons: For some odd reason, a person's voice. Otherwise it's personality traits. "Nerds" are a turn on. The quiet kid that sits in their own little corner always interests me. Mainly because I was that kid in grade school. Always sat by myself and stuff and people would be utterly shocked to find things out about me whenever they did...that just goes to show that there's a helluva lot more to those kind of people, and that intrigues me. Otherwise, a lot of things like Rogue said are the same for me. I like cuddling, humpr, stuff like that.
Turn-ffs: If a person is a jerk. That pretty much is a turn-off. I like arrogance and such, but there's a limit and beyond that limit is an UBER turn-off. Alcohol...and smoking...smoking most definitely is an UBER turn-off as well.

But I agree on the smelling fear part.
Well, just like boys, not all girls are the same either. I personally find shyness to be sweet. Only so much though. The considerate kind of shyness is what I'm talking about though, if that makes sense. But anywho...like said before...just be yourself. Look at it this way...there's no point in a relationship if you're not happy. So, fighting to be something your not will take it's toll on you and wear you down. Thus making you unhappy. So that's reason enough to be yourself. It's a bit redundant, in my opinion, if you're not.
Kai's right. Just go for it. Worst that could happen is a "no", and I know it's easier said than done, but just say "okay" and move on. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
