| Apparently the basketball coach over there used to teach at my university so today's school paper had a lot of information from him, he and his daughter that goes there were fine. She was living in the dorm next to the one where the first shootings happened.
I think what amazes me most is the the school took two hours to notify students of the first shootings... by email. I know that on a campus that size email is probably the only way to notify so many people, but TWO HOURS? The second shootings had already begun by then! The whole thought of this ordeal is just horrifying to me... I read about how one classroom barricaded the door with a desk just before the shooter got there. He tried to force it open, and when he couldn't he fired three shots into the door and left. What could possess someone to want to kill that badly? |

History: Moraine just recently moved out on her own, has always been good at school and likes playing video games and reading books. Rather accident prone. Occupation: Manager at the local bookstore. Residence: Small apartment (ground level) in a nice neighborhood. Lives alone. ***************************************** *The alarm clock rings on the table next to Moraine's bed and she glares at it as she turns it off. For a few moments she contimplates setting it to go off again in thirty minutes, but decides against it. She crawls out from under the covers and stumbles over to the closet. After a few moments she pulls out a pair of black, boot-cut jeans and a cammo t-shirt with the phrase "Spot Check DC 22" on the front and then goes to the dresser for the daily undergarments. Having gathered her clothes for the day she makes her way to the bathroom for her morning shower and teeth brushing. Emerging from the bathroom an hour later, Moraine heads for the kitchen and begins preparing a hearty breakfast of granola cereal with soy milk and berries. She puts the electric kettle on to make some much-needed coffee and goes to grab the paper from her mailbox. Anywho, love and sex are different and you can have one without the other, though in my opinion sex without love is meaningless even if it feels good. As for the topic at hand, the only real distinction I make between hetero and homo sex is that they do it differently. I can only assume it feels different to them, since they can't really use the heterosexual method; but it gives them pleasure so more power to them. |

| Actually, the guy immigrated here in 1992 when he was a kid. Grew up in Washington D.C.
What pisses me off is that the Korean community is taking shit for this. The main Korean center in Los Angeles has been getting calls from angry people condeming them for being Korean. Why do people focus on the guys' race? There was evidence that the guy was SERIOUSLY mentally disturbed and had been for some time; but no, they focus on race and video games. |
