I guess. Not really these days, but back in my unattached days...
Do you believe in a higher power? |

One thing I do wonder is if you can still see the scars or if these things really are just completely invisible.
Looking at some pictures of it online, it looks like the scars are still very visible when the black light isn't on: http://www.bmezine.com/tattoo/uv001.html For me, the fact that you can still see where it is sort of defeats the purpose of having it only show up under UV light. Scarring can look cool, but meh. |

What the... 6D?
Why does this suddenly remind me of all of the amusement park "4D" shows that are still just 3D movies that blow water and air at you? Good grief. Yeah, I agree, still pretty cool. (Last edited by Rogue on 09-07-08 07:43 PM) |

Sure seems like it, doesn't it? Sometimes it's like GTA. Even to the point that when you get a new car, suddenly you see people driving the same model everywhere.
Have you ever really cared about something that was on a ballot that you got to vote on? |

I really don't remember. I remember my first lunch box was yellow and had a Japanese-looking teddy bear drawn on it that I covered with stickers (because, you know, stickers made everything rad in those days).
I don't think I've ever had a back pack that had a character on it. Most of my bags have always been whatever I could find that had lots of pockets, which has been true ever since I could remember, and it's always been my lunch box that had all the nifty colors and characters on it. Have you ever had a song stuck in your head, that came from something you don't remember seeing, hearing, etc, and every person you tried to describe the song to just thought you were insane? While talking with a native American storyteller by the name of Dovie Thomason, some Smithsonian Week or two ago (where she was one of the invited intellectuals who was asked to speak in Long Beach and tell us a few native stories), I asked her what she thought about our over-medicating society, especially our children. She answered that some kids are just gifted with "hummingbird energy" and it should be celebrated and encouraged, not stifled.
I COMPLETELY agree with Dovie. I think the whole ADD/ADHD thing is just a trend diagnosis to sell meds. We live in a society that's based on fear (There're diseases on our foods! This'll cause cancer! Breathing is bad for you!!) and pharmaceutical companies prey on the worried masses, especially those who have children and want the best for them. In the end, people who have been told they have either of the two "disorders" should never be ashamed or feel like it's a curse. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? I remember knocking MySpace's a couple years ago. They also had one of those, "If you post something, it's ours" bullshit with bands and other such personages.
I advised my friend's band to only put up covers and not original work. One never knows when a media outlet that has access to production companies might steal your work and claim ownership. Eventually MySpace received enough flack for it and have supposedly edited in that your work is yours yadda yadda yadda. Anyway, none of this surprises me. Go figure. |

Considering that I don't have cable, I really don't know. If they were foods I'd pick Chowder.
I just realized I'm really hungry now. Do you buy or rent? (Last edited by Rogue on 09-05-08 01:21 PM) |

Yeah I want one too. It'd totally freak Miko out.
It looks like it has horns and gnome ears. |

Forced to removed shoes and socks DEFINITELY. I prefer being barefoot anyway.
Would you rather live in a manure igloo that's very warm in winter and cool in the summer or a chic Manhattan penthouse that has no open-able windows, no air conditioning, no heating, and virtually no air circulation no matter how many fans you bring in? |

Found a Sonic near my new school. Ate there last night. It's funny finally eating something a lot of Californians bitch about not having (yet not realizing there are a couple in the area).

Yes, I have. A couple, actually. Only one of them was in any way "serious," as it lasted 4 years and he and I had been together, in-person, a few times.
How long have you been sitting at your computer today? |

The refrigerator. Then the stove. And then the microwave. And that's it. We don't use anything else. No blenders, electric can--openers. Nothing.
What invention do you wish was never created? |

Don't forget Princess Chunk, http://www.bestweekever.tv/2008/07/30/princess-chunk-speaks-diary-of-a-fat-cat/, whom later everyone found out was actually a "Prince" Chunk.

At this moment the ceiling fan as it's really the only thing making any noise. Well then there's the clicking and clacking of the keyboard right now.
What's the most disturbing movie you've ever seen and for what reason do you think so? (Last edited by Rogue on 09-07-08 07:30 PM) |

Well if I at least know how to float and not swim, then yeah, I guess I would.
If you were a car, what part of you would be the most susceptible to damage or wear? |

Heh, Zabuza, what if you ended up being lesbian for the day?
In answer to the question that's a tough call, especially since I've found some ultimately orgasmic mac and cheese at the barbecue place a couple months back. But since most mac and cheese isn't near that level, I'd go with pasta. Unless it's bowtie or something simplistic without any sauce. Then again if it's marinara, I'd take the mac and cheese. If you ran your city's budget and something needed to be cut immediately to save money, what would be the first thing you'd get rid of and why? |

Yeah, I know I make a thread for this every other year, but what the hell is this Patriot Day Celebration business? The parks in my area are having parties and concerts to commemorate the Sept. 11 attacks.
It always weirds me out that people attach more than a moment of silence or flag-at-half-staff to a day that some spend in solemn mourning and contemplation. It's like taking Holocaust Remembrance Day and throwing a big Oktoberfest celebration for it. Well I guess we all need to occasional reminder that we're alive? |
