I started playing when tenth edition came out, although I am familar with the older sets. I own a shit load of older cards. But I sort-of keep up with the newer sets. They've been adding alot of really cool effects. It almost makes the older decks obsolete. I say almost because cards such as Akroma and Darksteel Colossus have yet to be surpassed. They are Gods.

And I agree, Yasu. D&D is so much more involving and makes you think in every which way possible.

I disagree with the animaniacs.
They are a complete classic, and one of my favorite 90's cartoons. Never should they be eithr live action or digitally animated. I will accept new episodes, or even a movie, of the animaniacs that are 2-D animated, but otherwise, I will not here of it.

Vulkar, my esteemed opponent in the Xeodential race. I hold today a meeting viewable by the public so that this may not come as a surprise to them.

We have torn each other limb by limb in this debate, throwing out slander, be they truths or lies, at one another. It has naught but ruin our reputations, and burnt both of our campaigns so far to the ground that the Mystery Candidate has more votes than either of us, even though the posters know not of his personality.

I have called you here today so you may hear my proposal.

*Phoenix drinks from the glass of water on his podium, the condensation shining like crystals in the heat of the blaring spotlights. He glances hesitantly his papers before returnng his gaze to his opponent.*

I offer you peace. Too much blood has been shed by this debate betewwn you and I. Combat is hella fun and easy for beginners to learn, that's what makes 4th ed awesome. Pathfinder takes everything that made 3.5 great and expands upon it, balancing out the higher levels somewhat.

Everyone does always say hold on to the good memories, but that's not always right. It can just make things alot worse at times because then you're comparing your life now to the life that used to be,, and it makes you even more depressed. Letting go is sometimes the best thing. I was never engaged, but I generally know how you feel about your ex-fiance. Being in love with someone and then them completely changing is really hard. It makes you question why you were ever with them in the first place, and you hate everything about them and yourself. But at the same time, you still probably love her, and can't accept that she changed. Even if not, letting go is the best thing for you to do in that situation. When you finally let go, you stop comparing everything to the past. Yeah, your life might not be great right away, but it looks alot better.

As for the family thing, why do they hate you? Is it anything you can resolve? Grnted, you're older than I am, but my family hates me, too. I've never once gotten along with my sisters. The stance I take on that is "Why do I need them?". Because if I keep them around after I move out, they're going to do nothing but hinder me. You should try to move on without them, as bad as that may sound. Just a suggestion.

I can't really help you with the job, but just (and I know from reading the rest of this that its a stretch) try to stay positive about it. If you constantly think that you're going to get fired, you'll start doing alot less because you find the work pointless if you're just gonna lose your job anyway.

You can get through this, Val.
