Last I checked, summoning creatures from another world was impossible in the real world. Controlling lightning was impossible in the real world, if memory serves. And turning into another creature was impossible in the real world last I heard. There's a whole array of impossible shit that we've been doing. You gonna complain about that, too?

To be a little more serious, Hell exists within your mind, or so I think. You'll probably get the same answer from any atheist you ask, as well as a majority of non-Christians... I may be wrong, but it seems a logical guess that people who don't share the Christian idea of Hell would think it's all in your head.

Edit: If it does exist, that'd mean your spirit would exist (we KNOW the body sticks around, so what's left to go to Hell?), and I'd still guess it'd be self-inflicted torment, in all honesty. The human mind is a powerful thing, and if people can get some symptoms of an illness from strongly believing that they have it, what's stopping their belief from being the source of their torment?

Now, I wouldn't even do that much, Van - though in my case, it'd be attempting to explain my reasons for believing in no gods. That could still be seen as an admittedly more passive attempt to put pressure on them regarding religion.

Hmm... see, if I was Wiccan, I'd probably have an easier time in this house... both parents are, and my grandmother's a very open-minded Christian (she has to be, to be living with two wiccans )

But then, we can't all be lucky enough to have parents like mine, who don't really care what religion I follow (although they wish I would follow ONE, as opposed to being Atheist, but that doesn't bother them much...).


Say, you mentioned how badly your mother took it, but only said your dad took it better. I'm kinda curious here, what was his reaction?

Yeah, geeo's actually got a point...

But, of course, we'll probably never reach such a state, so that's probably a moot point. I figure that every religion has at least one or two things it's gotten wrong (if one was completely right, we'd all be following it already, right?), and since so many people refuse to take ideas from those they disagree with, whether the person is right or not, there'll probably never be a 100% correct religion. SImilarly, since some people refuse to believe religion has any merit whatsoever, it's doubtful that science and religion will ever fully agree.

BUT, given the circumstances you provided, yes, everything wuold be fine.

Syntax, that option is called shutting the fuck up and not posting in the thread. It's a very simple concept. I do the same thing when polls about Mortal Kombat or most MMORPGs are posted at Acmlm's. I simply smile, nod, and avoid the thread except for moderation purposes (catching flaming, spam, etc.)

I would have, but this is FAVORITE Final Fantasy, and my favorite isn't up there, so I will not vote. My favorite, as I said, is FFT. Right behind it would be FFV, FFVI, and FFIX, in no particular order.

The bottom of my list? FFTA, FFX, FFII, and FFVII. FFIV is somewhere in the middle, and I haven't played MQ, FFX-2, or FFXI.

In an RPG: I like relatively simple dungeons (early on, and that's where some people have problems making them) with a few good puzzles, and some very well hidden (and very valuable) items.

... shit, I remember one item that my friend Phillip found in FFVI.. it was in that mountain area right after South Figaro... I couldn't believe it; I had cleared that area MULTIPLE times, and never got it. That's what I mean by well-hidden items...

though how he found it on his first try, I'll never know.

In a platformer: Background scenery must be used well. Additionally, no cheap one-block jumps unless it's just to get to a secret area (that isn't required to beat the level/game). The level should be interesting, one in which you're never just walking forward, and it should flow relatively well and each level should have a focus; if there's a relatively flat level with most jumps being over pits and short obstacles, it doesn't follow to stick a tall wall in there.

It's a waste of effort, since you're already convinced long before you even post that you cannot possibly be wrong. But, I may as well...

- Lazy or not ready to work on "our project".
- Lacks of humor or random funness from us.
- May be busy at some point in life where they may not have enough time for this board. (School, job, life problem, etc., just because they are inactive doesn't mean it is entirely school's problem. )
- Latest problem or issues that this board has from its history.
- Popularity or "Fame rate".
- And most importantly, lack of movitation or positive environment from us.


I'm gonna do this all at once.
