| So my boyfriend and I bought tickets to see it in IMAX at the Long Beach Town Center. I guess the first showing they will be having is 5/7/09 at 7pm, but since Ben has to work the closing shift at his job that night we can't make that or the 9:45pm show. So yeah, we're going to the 12:20am show, so I'm still seeing a midnight showing technically and it's in IMAX. | Tired of the hype and I actually like the Sharks. Ben's somehow turned me into a hockey fan... not really that hard since it was the only sport I didn't hate, but still something for me. At least Penguins beat the Flyers... Penguins are my favorite overall.
That is funny that they like Dodgers over the Angels though. And I feel you on the knee trouble, mine hate me anytime I do something fun as well. Fuck the semester not being over yet. I'm so tired of writing essays that it is driving me insane. Fuck Zynga for their dumb games on MySpace and Facebook that let people with money cheat buy allowing them to purchase favor points. Fuck my apartment for not having plugs in the walk-in closet. Life would be so much easier with a plug in there. |

| I found a light beer I like at the Rock Bottom Brewery, which is something I never thought I would find.
Penguins knocked the Flyers out of the Stanely Cup playoffs and advance to the next round. I got nifty headphones from snuggbuds.com for half price because I met the owner at the Long Beach Bike Fest. The style I wanted was out of stock then, so he said to contact them on the website when they were back in stock and he'd give them to me half price, and they did, which is awesome! And I apparently get 25% off for the rest of the year. W00t. Finished last essay for Byzantine class a week early.  |

Actually it was the Cyclone Light Lager. The Pelican Red is also good though, Ben loves it which is cool because he normally doesn't like red ales. We got the premium sampler so we got to try all of them. Didn't like the Signal Hill one, but otherwise they were all good. |

The bell rang signaling the end of the period. Crystle stuffed her notebook back into her bag and made her way out of her English class. Up next was A.P. Biology, and she was a bit apprehensive after last night. Today's attire was similar to the day before's, black cargo jeans and a black shit emblazoned with a picture of the band Coal Chamber inside of a television. It made her think of a goth Telletubby to be honest, but she like it anyway.

She walked into the biology classroom and took her customary seat at the front. After pulling out her notebook and the class text she paused to adjust her spiked bracelet and waited for the other students to walk in.

Fort Irwin is about halfway between where I live and Vegas, so about a 3-4 hour drive. That really is about the closest one I can see. |

Crystle listened to the teacher as she began reading off the list, sneaking a surreptitious glance at Sarah to see how she reacted. No sign of Sync taking over, so far so good. Crystle smiled. "You gonna be okay with that?" She looked around to make sure no one was paying attention as everyone was moving over to their partners. Crystle smiled, despite her own queezy stomach. Just because she could do it didn't mean it didn't turn her stomach a bit. "I have to admit that I am not looking forward to the cat, though. I much preferred working with the agar plates and bacteria." She looked around at the other students to see how they were doing. As they began their dissections. It was fairly simple in practice, so she got through it fast enough. Then all they had to do was label the diagram in the book and identify the parts.

There is a suspected case at my school and people are a bit spooked but there are no masks. People in the O.C. are just crazy I think. And I guess a cruise ship that came in today has a case on board so that is all over the news as well. Frankly, I don't care... it's just another strain of the flu and all you really have to do is take care of yourself and you'll be fine.

Someone that my boyfriend knows honestly thinks that it's caused by eating pork. I really don't know why they think this... I guess all the stuff with the spinach and the peanut butter has them conditioned to think that way... but it is really stupid.

But yeah, I finally saw someone with a mask on Friday... and he wasn't even wearing it right since his nose was uncovered. But yeah, I still like Obama's first advice on the subject: cover your mouth when you cough and wash your hands. I'm just waiting to see how many fucking morons are masked at school on Monday. I mean, the girl's been quarantined since last week, I doubt there is any real danger at this point. All it really means is that flu season is going to potentially suck this year and that a lot more people are going to want flu shots.
