| Since it's Ridley Scott, are there going to be any actual changes to the reboot for Alien? They aren't going to show the Alien this time are they?
Since I just finished reading the book and Ben told me what they did to butcher it in the movie, I honestly wouldn't mind it if they did a remake of Relic and do it right this time. Never saw the movie, but from what I've learned they basically rewrote the entire thing. |

| Ok, so I have written more and have outlined the entire story. I have chapter names and everything. Sixteen chapters, a prologue and epilogue. Short novel, yes, but I hope to make it count. I'd post what I have but it's on my actual laptop and also half of what I have written is still in a notebook and not typed up yet. I have rewritten what is already posted here, the prologue now included General Rock's actual speech, which I feel makes it much stronger and better outlines the alternate timeline that I have come up with.
There have been some changes after much consideration: 1) Oni's name has now changed to Havoc. It makes more sense for the character and is a bit less confusing to the reader. He was known as Oni up in Washington where he and Goblin are from, this is detailed in chapter two. 2) I am not 100% on this, but more than likely I am going to change Goblin's character to be full-blooded Japanese instead of being half-white, also because it fits with the character more. This means I will have to change his last name and I am not sure what it will be yet other than not Sato. I'd prefer a less common name but one that starts with an S. His previous name was Toshiro Sanders, first name remains unchanged. I would actually welcome suggestions. My current favorite is Sanada. When I get my laptop back and can finish typing up what I have I will likely repost everything I have, including the rewritten parts so that you can comment on the changes. | What are your thoughts on it? What are your favorites? I'm not just talking about the adult versions, but real honest fan fiction. Stuff like crossovers or story continuations. Have you ever written any?
Personally, I've never done any anime fan fiction... closest I came was using anime-style art on a Harry Potter fic I was working on and have since discontinued. My boyfriend has written an interesting cross-over between Midori Days and Haruhi, which I have posted a link to in the Story forum, and I found it pretty cool. I would love to see a continuation of the Shakugan no Shana story, even if it was just fanfiction, just because of how they ended it. |

Popping in for my happy little fuck you to my boss for fucking with my days. The rational part of me understands that she's doing it because of the economy and that everyone is getting hit, but it doesn't make the rent any easier to pay. On that note, fuck the economy. Fuck my raccoonish tendency to be easily distracted... I got on the computer to work on Darkfang and yet here I am. Fuck my boyfriend being tired all the time, he had this big plan to clean the apartment and organize things, he comes home, eats dinner and falls asleep. I'd wake him, but he's one of those super cranky types so I will just let him sleep. Oh yes, fuck our router for it's periodic spazzing and not working. Seriously? You really need to do that?
