| I still can't believe they brought back Jason Todd. The people wanted him dead, DC. Take a fucking cue from the public for once. While you're at it, stop calling every major comic event you put out "Crisis." No wonder your comics are getting their asses kicked at the box office. I'm looking your way, Jonah Hex. People have been demanding a Wonder Woman movie for years. Why don't you freaking give it to them already? Then maybe Green Arrow and Black Canary? Yeesh.
Ahem... ugh... anyway, I'm going to abstain. While Bruce Wayne is the definitive Batman, our grown-up original Boy Wonder hasn't really had a chance to flourish under the cowl yet. And I kinda dug Damien being the Dark Knight in Batman 666 a couple years ago. Just a smidge. |

In the end, Cap surrendered when he realized that his side, the outlaw heroes against registering, and the heroes who were for it were simply destroying the world around them while supervillains were running rampant. His "death" came after Civil War, and ended up with him never-being-dead-to-begin-with in Captain America: Reborn. "Fallen Son" and so many of the books that detailed Cap's death flew off the shelves because speculation buyers couldn't keep their hands off it, thinking that their books were going to be worth millions in such a short time. Ugh... I hate speculation buyers. Anyway, I agree. The death of superheroes is among the dumbest things, because really it's just to boost sales. What's worse now is putting Obama in as a character. Sales go through the roof and you can't get a copy to save your soul. |

| I'll be out of town for a few days. Back in time for Anime Expo. So... I'll be AFK for a week and some change. D'oh...
In other news, I've been in Hollywood for 4 of the last 7 days. Different reason every day. Sometimes it was to see a friend's show, get a sandwich, get an ice cream sandwich, see a band I liked, etc... Hollywood isn't near as glamorous as people think it is. In fact it's one big shit-hole. And it's been IN-fucking-SANE this past week. |

| So I've been allowed a little computer access before we leave for home, where I'm getting dropped off for Anime Expo.
It's REALLY hot where I currently am. Drank a lot of sampler beer at all these microbreweries out here. Almost died sliding off a rock into white water rapids. Went digging for sharks' teeth. Had a deep fried ham sandwich. Watched all of Futurama. It's been an OK trip. |

| Other than Harley, Ivy and Catwoman, my favorite would be Mr. Freeze. Freeze was always sort of an anti-villain who only becomes such out of necessity to try to preserve his wife's life. He's simply the most tragic of Batman's villains, and probably among the most underrated. | |||
