| Plowing through the second volumes of Walking Dead and Marvel Mangaverse.
My friend also loaned me Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, since she's always talking about those books and the Swedish movies that have been adapted from them. School starts in a few weeks. Still have time to read the things I want to. Not like it's going to be a chore doing the reading for the Graphic Novels class. I love my university sometimes.  |

| I just became super excited realizing that the concept of steampunk was created at my university. I'm off to find one of its fathers, who also wrote a book which is going to be the story for the next "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie.

You're right about the immortality thing, though. Tristran (his name in the book. Apparently someone wrote his name as Tristan for the movie because the saw it on the back of a copy of Stardust which was actually a typo, and it ended up sticking) dies of old age and Yvaine continues to rule in his place. |

But yeah, my thoughts exactly. Summed up by the look on a feline's face. I think I audibly "Heh"ed once while watching that trailer and then just felt irritated the rest of the time. I freaking survived Comic-Con last year with those types at the end of the video arguing all over the place. They seriously camped out for 3 days to catch the "Eclipse" panel.

| Just got back from watching "The A-Team" at the cheap theater. Yup, definitely worth watching again.
Unlike movies like "Starsky & Hutch," "The Brady Bunch," and "Charlie's Angels," it doesn't feel like you're watching a movie that's based on a TV show. It's like watching a hysterical action film that just happens to have the same characters as a much beloved program. |
