Originally posted by White Bad karma. Go watch Raiders of the Lost Ark and the last one. Second isn't too great, has its moments, but the first and last one (remember his father is Sean Connery) are amazing movies! Not to mention Raiders of the Lost Ark is paced like the old Star Wars movies, and the AMAZING music never stops. Though, that's a bit off topic ... regardless, Indie is still amazing. He's like James Bond, with a whip. |

If your PC is a bit behind, but instead you own a 360, well fear not. They're putting out the Half-Life Orange package (funny name), which will include:
|
- Half-Life 2 - Episode 1 - Episode 2 - Team Fortress 2 - Portal Normally, that probably would've run for about $200 or so. And its going to be priced as a normal game, at a measly $60. That my friends, is better than Starcraft's Battle Chest. That is one of the best packages I have ever seen. <3 Valve.

In all honesty Vulkar, I think Ninja Gaiden comes off as a bit more violent sometimes ... as brutal as God of War is, the blood is hardly noticeable (or maybe I've just played too many games), while in Ninja Gaiden its squirting all over. And although you're ripping limbs off and stabbing enemies faces, some of them look goofy, they're monsters, and hardly that realistic.

As for Kratos, I'm not going to lie, he's ignorant and pretty much like Vegeta. He's not the most lovable character, and I don't even really like his "character", but it can't hurt to play as a total self-centered badass who knows how to kill. Its the gameplay the got me hooked, not really the storyline or anything. And well the cool Greek Mythology is a bonus. Cairoi, you really REALLY need to play God of War II, like right now. I'll just simply say, Zeus plays a huge role, and well the game is drastically more "epic" than the first. And the detail and graphics are up to par with Shadow of the Collosus. Its quite possibly the best looking PS2 game out there.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand their "Remixed Versions" or whatever. Its like they're drowning in the Megaman syndrome. |

Loved it when you fight that mini-boss in the air while on Pegasus and there's that motion blur. So amazing. |

Don't ask, but the first thing that came to my mind when I opened this thread up is that I just wanted to post this picture of Misa Campo for no reason. I do want those apples. (restricted) |

TOTALLY RIPPED OFF RE4!!!
|
Haha, but not really ... surely its been in a few other games though. You know on one hand I love that aspect, but it tends to get a little predictable. Not the combos, just the "fact you know it'll happen" especially during bosses. Its epic, fancy, and awesome, but on the other hand I sometimes would just rather continue fighting new stages of a boss or something. But seriously, I'm not complaining. Also, in my opinion God of War magic > God of War II magic.

Yeah, I truly am.

Adam and Eve ... Adam may very well be very linked to me, Eve probably would have tricked me too. I am so easily seduced.

Finally, interesting threads ...
|
For me, since I love rundown's / lists: - School is fine. Its getting towards the end, so I really need to be going to class and haven't been skipping as much lately. Haha. I'm expecting at least a 3.0 GPA this semester again, no complaints there, though I slacked off quite a bit and could have went a little further than I did. I hope to change that this fall. - Chiropractic stuff. If you've seen my thread you know the whole story. I went this morning ... Monday ... I'll be going Friday. I swear I've been there like almost every other day. The headaches do seem to be going away for the most part, and physically my upper back / neck has felt a lot looser and more relaxed. I think its helping things out. - Work's kind in a *what the f*ck is going on* moment. My Manager got fired about 2 months ago, but luckily our salesman was promoted and took over. Though, he's 21 and I guess that's a bit odd, and with a new District Manager a lot of shit is changing around, mostly for the worst. Luckily, I like Chris a lot (our new manager), and he's the only other employee who has been at the same store as I have for the last 2+ years. The downside is, he's young and can't really bring himself to tell people off when needed (I guess that's a problem with me here? =P). Some of the newer employee's he's hired are really full of themselves, and think they know everything. Monday I almost felt like walking out because I was getting so pissed off at the guy telling me how to do my job. For crying out loud, I'm doing the same thing I did in June 2005, I think I know what I'm doing. Now we have a few brand new employee's and I'm already not liking one of them, again another guy who thinks he's the greatest thing since poptarts. I really get tired of these ignorant people. - Love life. Still an utterly hopeless romantic. The deal with my longtime childhood friendly (made a thread about it a long time ago) didn't turn out too well. We're friends, but she's pretty into her companion and its a lost cause. As funny as it may sound I do hope to work out this summer to build an actual physique that my tiny self lacks, and I do hope things are better next semester. Guess I'll try to be more open and outgoing, but that's something I've been saying since I started High School. And yes, I know looks aren't everything, but I guess it'd make me feel a little better myself ... or something. I'm just really a small guy. = - Entertainment. Finally starting to play more videogames again, and I am finally back into anime and watching some on my own. I should start reading manga too. Music, more metal of course, though my collection has slowed down a lot. I also have a lot of movies and shows like The Office that I own and need to watch. - Family life. Haven't really connected with the family all too much over the last few months, but I think its appropriate considering my age. I'm just doing my own thing now. Again, we might end up moving (how many times have you guys seen my say that? Yeah, this'll be the 12th or so move in my life into another home), though this time since we live in a craphole duplex and everything I wouldn't mind. But we won't end up moving until the end of this year, or next year, and by then I'll be 20 so I really don't know if I'll just finally decide to move out at that point in time or move yet again with the family. My dad started up his own carpentry business and its really been turning out pretty well for him, regardless that we never seem to have food in the house. He thinks we'll be out of dept by the end of this year, that'll be cool I guess. In the end, the only thing I really wouldn't mind having right now in my life is a lady friend. Hahahaaa. |
