Watching this really crappy movie, "Hebrew Hammer." It's supposed to be this Jewish spin on 1970s blaxploitation movies. It's so obnoxious and painful to watch. 
Then again, just about anything with Andy Dick in it is. It's amusing from time to time, but if it weren't for the fact that Brandon was the one who put it on the Netflix I'd turn it off. |

Girls your age tend to swing toward the good-looking assholes at first, who'll treat them poorly because they think they're god's gift. Over time, they meander toward the nice ones with steady employment who make them laugh. What you should do is go to college, join a club, and be yourself. | I'm running ragged. I'm writing a paper right now for a class this afternoon. I've got another due in two days on a comic book character's evolution.
Last week I had papers and a midterm that I nearly had a heartattack over. I'm still not sure about it. The week before that I had papers due. Next week I've got a 6-page paper due. There's just too much to work on. |

| We're watching "Rocky Horror Picture Show" to figure out what songs Brandon needs to learn and re-learn for a show he's playing on Halloween.

My brain is so fried right now. I'm reading crappy novellas online right now before I have to get around to writing a paper on the evolution of a comic book character. That teacher grades so much harder than one would expect for someone who teaches a class on comic books.  |

| The more I look at this video, the more annoyed I am with it actually, especially since it keeps getting passed around Facebook like crazy.
Like I said, where was this thing 2 years ago when Prop 8 was getting voted on? In California, it's really trendy to bash on Prop 8 at the moment. People are just NOW making videos and doing photoshoots with duct tape covering their mouth and "NO H8" written on their cheeks and foreheads. These things would have actually been effective when there were impressionable people voting on this proposition, now it's in the hands of judges who are unaffected by these usually web-exclusive sentiments. |

| Hmmm.. I'm not sure if I'll be dressing up yet, but next weekend I'm doing a comic convention. On Halloween, my boyfriend's band is playing the all-star "Rocky Horror Picture Show" party with Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito among the guests.
Not sure if I'll be going to it yet since tickets for it are like $150. Meh, we shall see. It all works out somehow. |

| I got a B on that midterm I've been dreading.
Right now I'm supposed to be writing a paper for graphic novels class about a comic book character's history and trajectory.
I've got two big papers due next week, and a member of my entrepreneurial magazine project hasn't been showing up for class let alone group meetings. She cockily said to one of the members of the group that she could do it all by herself. Fine, then. I've been like a zombie the last few weeks. I should be working on this story that I conducted the interviews for last month, as well as this project I've got going with some friends. Goddamn it. |

| Hello, old thread. You're getting bumped.
Since it's been a good 8 months since the last post and there've DEFINITELY been some songs that have begun to rank among those I can't stand, this thread was long overdue for a bumpering. Pretty much anything that Glee is covering is just fucking obnoxious, but I think what's worked it's way to being utterly destroyed is Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." Years ago it was fun to sing it on the rare occasion it would play at a bar or come on the radio. Now, it's EVERYWHERE, and everyone wants to sing it like they do on Glee.
Glee was more on the bandwagon though. I think Family Guy started the trend of people drunk singing it during karaoke, because that's been going ridiculously strong. |
