| CoD4 is INSANELY amazing. It's like Counter Strike with awesomeness + 9,999. Once I really got into it, I can't go back to Halo 3 at all ... it's embarassing on Bungie's part (since they came out around the same time), because CoD4 just blows Halo 3 out of the water in terms of graphics, gameplay, and everything. It makes Halo 3 look so dated and you'll notice a chunky framerate by switching between the two games right away like I have a few times.
Basically, CoD4 is true next gen. Halo 3 is weak sauce.
Nagis: Same here, probably half my 360 collection is FPS's.
On topic, I got probably like ~$300 worth of gift cards and money basically. Random clothes, etc. Not bad I guess. I feel a little bad for being 20 and getting nobody anything, but I'm jobless at the moment so I feel I need to hold unto most of my money right now. (Last edited by XeoLVII on 12-26-07 05:56 AM) |

| Come to think of it I think I posted a song or two from their album before Master Control, Burn To My Touch which is also funking amazing, though Master Control is more accessible I'd say.
Fanmade myspace. Their main site has some stuff. Has some great songs up there. Two from Master Control. I like all three of their albums but Master Control is truly a relic! I really don't feel like counting here but that's essentially a list of several hundred languages used in the world today. Chances are not everyone on this board has absolutely perfected English and contains flawless grammar, actually that's every single member on the board here that doesn't. no298 unealess adsometne waz postinasd lik di8z o0r osometnnaging - then I have never understood why people insist on correcting someones posts, spelling, grammar, whatever. Just stop. Now as the owner and a moderator of several boards throughout time I have got to say, by far one of the most annoying things in arguements over messageboards is when people quote/refer to the FAQ like it's the almighty original Ten Commandments that everyone in the world believes in. Not everyone in the world believes in it! We didn't even write the FAQ and regardless if we did the first rules would be 1) Use common sense and 2) These rules can be entirely subjective, unless I find a way to clone myself 12 times and make only my clones staff, all moderators are going to have different opinions on how to handle things and regardless AGAIN, common sense comes into play above anything else. Also since I've seen it more than a few times ... please DO NOT throw yourself in a situation that doesn't involve you at all!! Do we have "gangs" here at the board or something? If people are in an arguement that doesn't concern you at then why do you have the urge to come in and make yourself look downright terrible!? -Especially- if you're just going to come into a thread and add absolutely nothing to the topic at hand and rather, just throw out a random rebuttal. How come I can? I'm the boss and the moderators are the ones who have the right to set things straight as well. Does this mean only staff can be helpful? NO! Any member on the board can be. But there's a fine line between being a prick and actually being insightful, it's not hard to be polite. As the saying goes if you don't have anything good to say then just don't say anything, don't waste your time making yourself look bad. Basically the staff are the staff. I hope this gets a message across and it should be clear who I'm directing these points towards. From here on this is about Fennicy's art and I'm very sorry this topic was derailed like it was. And for the love of God, for once I will just ask that people DO NOT contact me about this over AIM or anything from here on in this topic, it shouldn't be hard to put in the past and just forget about! It's not a big deal! Though certainly things needed to be set straight here and I surely hope they were. The End. |

Here we sometimes use both Pop and Soda, though Pop is definitely way more common to hear. When I go up to Chicago to visit relatives though it's a different story and well, Rogue will say the same. |

I hear the mods and whatnot for it are pretty cool. The bad thing is I've heard rumors that the 360 version has been delayed because, MS wants people to pay for the mods ... while they're apparently free over the PC/PS3 versions. I hope this isn't true. |

| Nagis: Maybe you somehow hit your face on something? I know people can have dreams where they may physically punch something and then wake up with a sore fist, so I don't know. But yeah, I don't think any of us can explain our dreams.
NUCKLEARKNIGHT: I think all of us have had those dreams where people don't hear you or just don't listen, I've had several and I absolutely hate those kinds of dreams. For me, I'll have to think ... I've had a lot of bad dreams sadly, especially when I was younger. They weren't insanely evil or so frightening I'd wake up freaked out or anything but I've had a lot of those dreams where people were just out to kill me for no apparent reason. Anyone have dreams where you're falling off a cliff and right when you hit the ground, you hit the ground below your bed? That or you jump in your sleep ... I've had some of those.
