| So I had multiple weird dreams last night. The one I can remember vividly was wandering around a hospital and finding Sylar, who was my doctor. I kept tell him I loved him, which I felt myself feeling toward him as he was treating me. And then for some reason he was injured and I was concerned for him, asking whose power was the last he took (which would make more sense if he was Peter) and he learned in and said, "Yours." To which I smiled and said, "I'm happy," as he began sliding this long needle into my ear canal. Apparently I had a spontaneous regeneration power, so I guess that'd be why I wasn't afraid of him.
In another part of the dream, I was Robert Redford in the 1920s, hiding from some woman who double-crossed me at a hotel in Brooklyn. I don't remember much except the girl who betrayed me was Jennifer Connelly. |

| I wouldn't call 4-chord songs terrible just because of the reliance on simplicity (especially since one of those songs was "Let It Be," one of the greatest songs ever written and performed as far as I'm concerned). I think it's mostly just poking fun at those songs.
I'm more inclined to believe most of the songs named off in the Pachelbel's Canon in D rant are crap (although "Let It Be" shows up there too  ).

| This has been bubbling for YEARS now as one of my biggest pet peeves: FUCK people who bitch about things they get for free. I'm sick--SICK, I TELL YOU--of people going to free festivals, getting free samples, reading webcomics and watching webseries, and so on and then complaining like there's no tomorrow.
Example: A couple years back, went to the Grand Avenue Festival in downtown L.A., which closed off this entire street to traffic. Grand Avenue is loaded with museums and performing arts centers and buildings the city paid billions for. The festival is an entirely FREE event that's designed to give people who wouldn't otherwise get to, the chance to experience the culture available on Grand (free admission to MOCA and REDCAT, performances at the Ahmanson, Dorothy Chandler, and Mark Taper Forum, etc). They were GIVING AWAY tickets to watch music performed in the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Tickets to see anything in there are usually through the roof. Anyway, we get tickets for a chamber music performance and it's wonderful. These people behind us start complaining--during the perfomance--that the musicians were playing too many "mainstream" pieces like Mozart's Symphony No 5, alegretto or whatever. It's like no matter where we went around the festival there were rich, white people wandering about to complain about the things that were free. They'd still take part in it, but they'd bitch about it afterwards. My latest beef has been with fans of The Guild when it comes to the show getting posted. It's a FREE show. You don't have to pay to watch it. You don't have to buy it, rent it, or donate or anything just to watch it. It comes out on Tuesdays if you have Zune or X-Box Live, and it goes public on Thursdays. Heaven help them if they don't have it up by noon on Tuesday. EVERY FUCKING WEEK my inbox fills up with e-mails from the Guild of Extras group from people going, "Where's the episode?!?!?!?!11!?!11/!?!1/1/1!?!!! IS IT COMING OUT TODAY OR WHAT?!!?!!!?!?!?!"
