**bops Beo** of course you know I'm going to say that I think you should go as well...why? Because it's only a trial type thing. So what if it isn't what you really wanna do with yourself in college...I mean I can't to become a director/producer, but my fall-backs are in art, astronomy, music, and english...yes I've stayed weekends at colleges or gone to worshops or something for colleges that have nothing close to what I want...why did I go? because it gives you important experience. I personally find it to be a waste to just assume that you know what type of college that you want to go to, blow all that money, and decide that you didn't like it...if they're paying for it, then this is an opportunity that you should realize...If I had it, I would gladly take it. So don't waste it. **hugs** I know you don't like the idea of it being for deaf people or something...but you know...like I said...it's the experience of trying it out, ya know? This isn't permanent...it's just something they're asking you to try out and see if you like.

Taking opportunities such as this, and other initiatives, is a very smart thing to do, and it'll save you money. You may end up going to the most expensive college in the world, but you know what? These experience will STILL have saved you money...because it gives you an idea of what you may like and what you may not like, and no matter the price of where you end up going, you'll know, or be the most sure that you can possibly be, that it's the place for you.

EDIT: and Beo...I don't give a shit if you're deaf, blind, or whatever...people have done great things with their lives and the lives of others, despite any type of obstacle in their way. And just because you're deaf, that doesn't make you any less or greater a person. Your true friends and the people that truly matter will love you all the same no matter what, like I do So don't let that hold you back in any way shape or form, you got me?

The only thing I like about baseball is that it means Spring is here and summer is comming, being that those are my favorite seasons. Not cuz of school, just the weather...so anywho...yeah, they're the only reasons I like abseball. I don't like watching the sport, or following it, although I like baseball movies...like "Field of Dreams"...weird, huh?

Hmmm....Elara, you say the word and ima beat 'em up!

And yes, the whole Palpatine bit...Pay attention dude. As far as the other two...I will admit that I loved episode I. I was 11 years old when it came out (they always come out around my birthday, and my b-day is May 14th ^^;; and Episode one was a bit kiddish...and I was at that perfect age to enjoy it, ya know? So yes, I will admit that I loved it, and I still do like it. The second one...it was okay. I wouldn't sit down and watch it randomly really, but if it's already on, it draws my attention. But this next one I am HIGHLY anticipating. I've known about the date since right after Episode II, but everone could figure that it'd be out in May

Gosh...I could go on and on about Star Wars and all...been a fan my whole life, so...lol. As Rogue said though, it is becomming trendy, but I don't care. Trends come and go. I will always enjoy Star Wars, so yeah... I am a diehard fan, but I'm not one of those creepy fans either, if that makes sense.

....has struck me big time.

For one thing, Sakura trees happen to be my favorite tree/flower in the whole wide world **beams happily** and they only come out in the Spring. We actually have a few around here in the city and they're absolutely gorgeous!!! I even like school during the springtime. Teehee. I dunno...just the Spring and Summer are my favorite seasons, but it's got nothing to do with school. I'm okay with school enough to put up with it, and it's better than the real world =/

I'm thrilled the weather is getting nicer. Though I'll still be found shivering in 60 degrees and I LOVE the heat during the summer **nods** It's weird I guess, but oh well...

Anywho...has this fever struck anyone else? Or do you hate the season...it's allergy season, so people usually aren't too thrilled about it...and as far as allergies are concerned, I'm good 'til the middle of the summer or winter when no one else gets them, lol.

I've never played for a team or anything, but I have played for fun...that's why it's weird...like I said, I like baseball movies, and I do think it's fun playing it...I just never was interested in the professional world of it, or anything like that. It's weird, but true. =/

As far as the pope dying, yes I've been touched by it, but in a somber respectful way, if that makes sense. No I'm not dancing around that he's dead, nor am I crying about it. It's death and it's sad, sure, but there's nothing that I can do about it, now is there? So I do see Zabuza's points here, our opinions may differ sometimes, but I see where he's comming from and do agree with the whole empathetic attitude.

I'm having diffuculties accepting religion, so really I can't say I'm anything, not even agnostic or atheist, because I don't know what I want to believe or if I want to believe in anything...but we'll just say I'm Catholic for argument's sake, because I'm being raised Catholic. Anywho, point being, no matter what I am, I look at people as people, and religion (as well as other aspects that people start trouble over) is just part of them as people. So I'm not looking at the pope's death as Catholics have been. I respect the man for who he is and what he's done, the whole Catholicism just happens to play in there somewhere.

So yeah, that's my input on the pope and religion, and why I feel that way...On a side note, when the pope actually died, it was April 2nd...the same day my step-dad George died, only the 2nd marked 5 years for George.

Well, Shaddow's got me. I'm 5'2 and 110lbs. Keeping up with and raising pretty much, 11 kids pays off...though I am a bit out of shape. Even with hockey, I always had to hold back because of my knees and ankles. I was 2. Someone said the word "shit" downstairs, as I was walking down the stairs. I repeated it. My mom was behind me. She smacked me, and it made me fall. Broke both knees and ankles, so they've always been bad, and always will be. So that's why I have to hold back in almost everything I do or they start giving me problems...and prolly the reason why I'll always be pretty much outta shape.

I concur with Sparda to a point. Yes, dreams are pointless if that's all they're ever going to be. However, some dreams are impossible to accomplish at a certain time, such as dreams of careers or something. Like Sparda said, things don't always happen the way you want them, but sometimes a dream can help you not to make a stupid decision to prevent you from getting at least somewhere, if that makes any sense. So basically I'm agreeing with Avatar as well. Dream it up, get into it, and then turn it into a goal. But I do think that certain things need to be a dream in order to become a goal.

As far as this dream is concerned...I say that you should try and find that happy medium Kai. It's hard to find, but possible. Don't rely on it to the point that it's making you depressed, but don't exactly just give up to the point that it makes you depressed. Only because sometimes when you give up totally on one thing, it can have a chain reaction and make you give up on a lot of other things as well, due to the depression. It's hard finding the happy medium when it's something that you truly want or believe in, but that is something that you maybe can focus on instead? That way, whatever happens happens, and you can get through it and deal with it no matter what is thrown at you. If maybe sometime it happens the way you'd like it, then great! If not, then you'll be okay.

If any of that makes any sense, then it should harm any more to try it.
