funny as hell, too bad the animation isnt all that too great, and that i dont ever pay attention to G4 anymore, or their time scheduals. i have seen a few eps from them tho, but i havent seen much because i dunno when it's on. and also, i dunno, i find myself uninterested in anime that isnt on the mainstream, or the POPULAR ones. but yeah, funny as hell....

there are, you just have to know/find them =P let's see, my fav color is blue to be honest as blue has the answers to everything that you can possibly throw at them. so much disruption, and card advantage, as well as trickery by blue. though, i find now that most players only use blue to make counter decks, which i find offensive. i vowed that i shall never use counterspells ever again, except in my counter deck lol... but yes, every, excluding mono colored decks, i use are always splashed in with blue. i need to draw draw draw....

aside from that, i'm an expert at all colors. red, blue, green, white, black... not a color i cant use. type two is a great environment to play your skills. i play t1 irl, because t2 is all about who has money. i play t2 online because i have access to all the cards, so i'm on equal footing.

i've got dozens and dozens of decks, all cluttering my room and desk =/ i break up apart, but i find myself making more and more =/
honestly, i hate magic: the gathering. but i dunno why i play it =/ it's such a drug.

oh BTW, i was at frank and son yesterday, and you can still find booster boxes from $60+ so if ross wants to get them.... he can. the sell boosters from $2+ there. most of the type two boosters cost $2.25, cheap as hell, from the retailers here at amazing comics at $3.69 -.-' grrrRRR

I've seen boosters for $6 around here.

well that can depend on a lot of things. like which type of booster it is, and your retailer. if it's from a card shop, or a chain store, like target or walmart. card retailers usually sell them at $3, the offical price that it's been for over 10 years, or $3.69 because of the recent price boost. chain stores like target or walmart sell them for $3.89 because they come in those safe packaging thing. if yours cost $6, then it's prob from an older set, or maybe your retailer is just an idiot, or maybe because they're ignorant =/, or possibly greedy...

target... i worked there a few months ago... i've had two interviews from two different targets, i guess i might be able to help.

okay, first thing, dress nicely, as with any interview. the interview really just depends on who is interviewing you. i had was interviewed by two targets as i already said, and both my interviews were polar opposites. the first one, right away when i sat down, i could feel something bad. she wasnt paying attention at all to anything i was saying, nor looked interested. in both interviews, i said the exact same thing, and they both asked the exect same questions. so it couldnt have been me, or the questions, it was the interviewer. the second target interviewer was more interested and actually loved her job. i dont recall the questions, but i think one of them is to name a time where someone asked you to do something to change yourself, and what did you do about it. i had long hair at the time, so i said how my mom kept on telling me to cut my hair, and i finally did, but it grew out again, and i pointed to my head, which my hair was really long at the time, and she laughed. so i guess you should try and say things that the interviewer could relate with or something that's interesting. when you answer questions, even thought you're nervious, just try and answer with much confidence, as if you actually want to love to work there. and if they dont ask for a drug test, then that means they dont want to hire you. they only tell you about the drug test to people they want to hire.

anyways, target... working there sucks. but it depends really on which job that you want to apply there. i suggest that you should apply to be a cashier, those people stay around longer than the floor team. i was assigned to be a floor team memeber, and all my preacessor were fired, including myself. it's such a bother to zone. it's an impossible mission and the executives don't even tell you where your area. they'll tell you where you have jurisdiction, but they wont tell you everything. and the go-backs are crazy. they expect you to know where everything is, and it's impossible to know everything in your zone, because there's a billion items that look alike. and basically as a floor team memeber, you're the store's slave. when they need cashier backup, they call on you. when the cart attendant is out on lunch, or break, they call on you. when a guest needs something, they call on you. the team leaders are hardly ever there to help or anything. guests are always constantly asking stupid questions and expect you to know every inch of the store. trust me... apply for the cashier position, it's much MUCH easier. you stand there, scan items, recieve money, give change, EASY. i should've applied to be a cashier instead of floor team -.-' the pay is brutal too. you start off with minimum wage: here in cali it's $6.75, and after your three months probation, they give you an extra quarter. then after one full year, they give you an evaluation, and depending on how they think you do, they pay you accordingly. the most you can get on that raise is another .75 cents, but it's usually .33cents. here in cali, there's a shitload of people who wants/needs a job, so they fire you like nothing. i see people go and come all the time during my stay there.

the booster could've remained for a number of reason. it really just depends on the team leader of the toys department. like at a target, they still sell 7th edition boosters for $3.89 and 7th edition is fairly old. i dont think boosters ever sell over $4 anywhere, even at walmart, because walmart checks its prices from the company they get their stuff from, and hasbro owns wizards, so yeah =/ that's why i never buy things from chainstores.

to escape non-physically, he could kill himself, therefore escaping to another plane.

or to "escape" the cell he could kill his cell-mate, therefore recieving punishment for it by the warden having him put in the hole.

before i say anything, i hope this isnt something that really happened, because it sounds like it's something that happened to you recently.

okay, secondly, i dunno why i even read this =/ i dont like reading ppl's story, nor do i ever even go to this part of the forum.

but here's my take on it. i think you need to tweek and do little bit more work with the dialogues. they dont seem REAL to me. and probably i'm an idiot, but there's just too many characters for me to keep up with. you had a few that you just mentioned about once or twice, with few dialogues, and i think that's throwing me off a bit. i think it's best that for a short story like this you should keep it down to maybe six or so characters. it sounds like there's 9 people here or something. if it were a novel, you'd be all set. but i'm guessing this is a short story, since you dove into the meat of the story right away, what with a missing person reappearing. this all seemed realistic, as i'm pretty sure you based it on something that was recent, but again, i found that there were some run-ons and dialogue problems. great tho.

actually, that's how i write. i'd get a stroke of genius and write until i feel like it, and stop. i'd stop for weeks or even months till i get back onto a story. that way, my mind would be refreshed, and i would have no memory of what i wrote. with that, i can easily edit my work. it would be as if i'm editing someone elses work. you would see more mistakes and while editing, you can pick up on your work. but my way takes too long, and something bad usually happens to my puter, and my files would be erased =/ i've never actually finished a single story yet. one time, i was working on a story for almost three years, and while i was at skewl, my dad erased my puter -.-' blah... i only managed to save a few chapters =/

i agree with katana, you shouldn't compare or redicule bands because they choose to drift away from themselves, otherwise people would then complain about how they're always singing the same things. you try new things and people complain, you dont try new things and they complain, people will always complain no matter what you do. and plus, why talk about american idiot the song, which sucks because it's so short, and not boulevard of broken dreams, which is a really kewl song. and maybe, the "old" green day grew up, who knows. people change, and you shouldn't always rate them based on how you like them, because they're REAL people, and people do w/e the hell they want.

not only did none of that make any sense, but you've once again surprised me. moving on, even if that did make sense, how would sawing two beds make a hole for them to climb out? and where the hell did they get a saw when they're in a cell.

okay, after reading it over and over, i finally get what you said. two halves make a "whole" and they climb out the "hole" lol, funny, but still no saw =/

81. i cant stand it when people go on my computer and mess around with my preferences, or icon order -.-'
82. i cant stand it whenever i want to do HW, there's always something good on.
83. i cant stand it how california has the highest price for gas in the nation. why, we even produce our own gas, there should be no damn reason for ours to cost the most. we're not on any damn low supplies or any shit, WTF!!!!
84. i cant stand it when the clouds are all out, but the sun somehow makes it through, thereby creating a greenhouse effect, thus making the temperature go up, when it's all shady. how is it that it's more hot in a very cloudy day with sun, then a day with no clouds with sun?
85. i cant stand it when i buy something, and the cashier crumples up my reciept, then throws it away w/o even asking.
86. i cant stand it when teachers give tests with tricky questions, just so they can screw with you.
87. i cant stand it when i'm listening to the radio while driving and on the radio, there's a commercial, and in that commercial, they play a police siren in the background, or a car honk in the background, why? PEOPLE ARE DRIVING, and when i hear it, i think it's real and i start to slow down, or look at my mirror. wtf, it should be against the law to have sirens on the radio, it's so damn dangerious.
88. i cant stand it when people don't cover up their BO when they come to class. i mean, damn, if you're going out or something, i guess it's okay because no one has to be near you, but in class, ppl are all sitting together by force, there's already less air, and now you gotta stink it up for the rest of us too?
89. i cant stand it when people are always protesting things, without knowing the REAL issue. they just protest it because they "think" it's wrong. well, no one cares what you THINK, if you don't know shit.
90. i cant stand it when people (usually girls) ask me to walk them to the vending machine, or the bathroom. WTF... it's like 50 ft away, why do you need to drag me along for? and why the bathroom, it's not like i can go in -.-' making me look stupid by standing outside a girls bathroom. jeeze...
91. i cant stand it when the radio keeps on playing dumb and annoying songs over and over.
92. i cant stand it when rappers are always introducing people in their rap songs, it's not like we're dumbasses. you don't need to say who you are, especially in a song that's in your damn album. or how they say in the end what production made it. WASTE OF TIME.
93. i cant stand R&B "love" songs because the guys are always talking about how much they "love" someone, but all they talk about is their body and how big their asses are and shit. or how they're always talking about how much money they have, who the fuck cares.
94. i cant stand it when someone makes a remix, and it ends up sucking, like Linkin Park and Jay-Z.
95. i cant stand how the exact SAME shirt can cost $50 at one store, and $15 at another.

what's everyone talking about? if it was fake, major consequences would happen in the world. the US would be the laughing stock of the entire world, and it would once again, add another straw to the camle's back for why everyone should hate the US. staging such a big hoax and tricking the world is no small matter. no one would ever trust us, and we would lose what little respect we have. millions of history books would be re-called, medals taken away, and a massive media shark attack from around the world would eat at us. you guys arent looking at the bigger picture. it's not about, so what if we made it or not, but the principle around it.
